I normally don’t get this in-depth with the review but I feel like I need to. Bravo to the owner and his staff. I’ve had good customer service in the past I’ve had bad customer service in the past but I’ve never had customer service this perfect before. One of the burgers was just a little too red for somebody I was eating with not only did they remake the burger they also refunded us for it which was so far above and beyond I can’t express how grateful that I am. If people locally are not supporting this place I feel sad for them. Not only that the food was delicious The service was impeccable even though they were swamped they got us in and out and a reasonable amount of time. If this isn’t one of your destinations for lunch you’re really missing out. Thank you to the kind courteous staff and I believe the owner that was there. You have a repeat customer when we come back this way.

I rarely come out to Michigan City, but when I do, I’ll be adding The Boathouse Grill to a stop of mine.
The decor and atmosphere of the place matched the theme perfectly. With boat decor and a mannequin with a hotdog hat.
The service from the crew members was amazing and friendly. They asked questions, were kind, and made sure our food was made exactly how we wanted it.
Speaking of the food, all of it was fantastic. The burger cooked to perfection, the chili dog was nice and juicy, and the fries were some of the best I’ve had in a while with its seasoning.
Overall, it was an amazing experience. And I look forward to going again.
