I made an online order, go pick the food up tell the guy what my order is, then show him on the phone the order number and name! I get home and the order is still wrong I specifically said nachos so why did I get home and it’s some kind of quesadilla! I tried calling back no answer. Food is very good people are really nice service is amazing BUT!!! when the owner is there you get better quantity. When anyone else is there cooking they give very little bit of food. But once Gil is there with his sister the flavors are totally different if you don’t want the beans and you want double the rice Gil give you more rice they pack the bowls the other cooks don’t they give an extremely little bit of rice. If you buy the food to go, the rice is so little bit only a child can eat that and get full. That’s why i gave 4 stars.

We ordered takeout from Gil Taqueria through a food delivery app when we were in the mood for Mexican. I went with the chicken platter that came with rice and beans, I put in the comments that I wanted black beans instead of refried. My wife ordered a chicken quesadilla, my youngest went with a single beef taco and an order of side queso. When it arrived, and I opened mine it did not look appetizing. The chicken on my platter was sitting on a bed of lettuce that had completely wilted during delivery, making everything look and feel soggy. The rice portion was tiny, and the refried beans—instead of the black beans that I requested— looked like baby food. As I started eating, the chicken itself tasted overly salty, and I honestly couldn’t tell what cut of chicken I was eating. I’m sure the delivery process didn’t help, but overall, I did not enjoy my food. On the bright side, Wifey did enjoy her quesadilla.

1st time in. Arrived pretty early, to avoid too much of a wait. The spot clean, with ample seating. I was a bit put off because the cashier/staff didn’t acknowledge my entry despite the rather noticeable “front door” alert was DEF working and I chose to sit at the counter, near where she was standing I decided not to leave. (good decision…the cook was friendly ) Once she “tore herself away” from filling condiment cups, I placed my to-go order, which was filled fairly quickly. Against my better judgment, I didn’t check my order before leaving, but once I got home, I was VERY pleased. The order was prepared as requested (2 Al Pastor & 1 Birria taco) modified per my request and the portions were not “skimpy”. A VERY good value. The meats were nicely seasoned and the tortillas were perfectly warmed & held up very well on my 30 minute drive home. The consumme & the other quite sauces were tasty. I will DEF return, particularly since I was informed that their aguas frescas are made in-house. Horchata will be my next beverage of choice

Very very tasty food everything we tried we fully enjoyed the prices are about average . We got Birria taco combo , birria pizza , steak nachos , and chicken nachos spent around $60 the food was full of meat and toppings it was all delicious . They are open till one on Friday and Saturday we went around 1030 pm on Friday and food was still good quality . Definitely added to my Mexican food spots

This is one of my absolute favorite Mexican restaurants! The food is always fresh, seasoned perfectly and delicious! The steak tacos are my absolute favorite. Followed by the chicken nachos which are LOADED! Gil’s be doing their big one.

Wow. The tacos are excellent. The birria was my favorite. I ordered the birria, carne asada and pastor. The best tacos. First time here, I’ll be back again for sure. Yummm
