I was told about this establishment by a friend. I arrived on a Sunday afternoon with my girlfriend for our first try. The establishment is easy to miss as it sits on a corner amd is really small. Parking is an issue as well. Overall, I like the small vibe and walk up window idea. I ordered the Q’s Cheesesteak combo with side of empanadas and a drink. My girlfriend got the chopped cheese with fries. The total order came out to $39 which was a little steep. Also, if you are in a rush do not come here. We waited about 30 minutes for the food to come out. First glimpse, the food looked great. Huge portions of the sandwiches and fries, but that was all. I only received one empanada as a “side” for a combo. Overall, the cheesesteak was really good, and was probably the best cheesesteak I have had around the area. The empanada was just average. My girlfriend said her meal was good and loved the fries. All in all, a decent spot for a bite.

Just had breakfast at Q’s Corner Café, and wow — their breakfast bagel sandwiches are on another level. The everything bagel was toasted perfectly, loaded with eggs, melty cheese, and crispy bacon. Every bite was super satisfying and packed with flavor.

The bright morning sun, red picnic tables, and a really chill vibe. It was a perfect start to the day.

The staff was friendly, service was fast, and the food was absolutely worth it.
Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area!

I love Q’s! I remember when this place was a Pelican’s, and I’m so glad they moved down the way for this great local spot to take this space! The bagels are always on point, and the lunch specials will fill you up. There will be a bit of a wait, but that’s to make your order FRESH. Whether you just want a sandwich, some empanadas on the side, or a whole meal, you will be happy.

I had a very pleasant first time experience!! Our food was flavorful and hot and served by very nice people!! If you’re in the area or visiting make it your mission to visit and indulge!! You will not be disappointed! I have a feeling everything there tastes flour!

They also have turkey bacon as an option, which is sooo important because allot of people don’t eat pork!

Q’s Corner Cafe is a “can’t miss”! I ordered the beef stew lunch special and it was outstanding! The flavors were fresh and vibrant! The rice & beans were great and the savory plantains hit the spot! My son ordered Q’s Cheesesteak and loved it. It was a nice day and we were able to eat outside. Q introduced himself to check if we were good. I don’t write a lot of reviews but when the food outstanding and it’s the result of a hard working entrepreneurial family…I’m a fan!

I ordered a Turkey Bacon Egg and Cheese (Yes, they have TURKEY Bacon if you ask!) on a Jalapeño bagel and it tasted just like any NYC bagel from a dedicated bagel shop. Absolutely would reccomend to anyone who wants to try out an NY style breakfast with coffee!

We finally tried this little spot, and since it was our first visit, we kept it simple. We ordered a meat empanada and a cheese-with-guava empanada — both were absolutely delicious!

Coming from Brazil, where empanadas are huge, these were definitely on the tiny side, but at $6 for two, the price felt reasonable. The meat filling was incredibly flavorful, and the dough was just right — thin, perfectly fried, and not at all greasy.

The cheese-and-guava empanada, though, is the real star. It’s a must-try. I have no idea what cheese they use, but it pairs perfectly with the sweet guava. I’m thrilled I can get them here now instead of making them myself.

I did have to remove one star for the customer service. The girl at the window seemed annoyed with us for some reason. We took maybe 3–5 minutes to look over the menu since it was our first time, but her attitude wasn’t exactly welcoming.

There are about three tables outside, but some umbrellas or shade would make the seating much more comfortable.

Absolutely loved the bagels, service, and location. I got two plain bagels with egg whites, cheese, and bacon, and it was delicious! Fantastic. Unbeatable. To die for. It didn’t take too long to get my food and they delivered it to my car when ready. Will be coming back.

Definitely will be visiting more frequently! The food is amazing and the staff is welcoming and very down to earth. As a northerner raised with Puerto Ricans, visiting this establishment was like going back home. The food is authentic, and you can taste the love and passion. I can’t wait to go back.

Amazing food and friendly staff! I love the idea of combining the taste of NYC and Puerto Rican flavors, it works so great together. The beef and chicken empanadas as well as the breakfast bagel sandwiches were so delicious and definitely a favorite of ours! We’re so excited to try more great food here so we’ll definitely be back again soon!
