I stopped by this Mexican restaurant for lunch, and I had a pretty nice meal. It was fairly dead at the time, but I decided to try some of their tacos and a torta. It was more than I should have ordered. The tacos were decent. I got one al pastor and one barbacoa, and they both had good flavor. The torta had asada steak, and it was huge. Lots of fillings were in there, and it tasted great. Overall, it was a decent spot for lunch, and I wouldn’t be against visiting again.

Came for the 3 for $6 taco Tuesday. Had a steak, pork, and chorizo taco and they were all good but the Chorizo and steak stood out. Simple and authentic, the tortillas were great. Got chips and salsa too and was pleased with the heat and flavor in the salsa. Big menu, I’ll definitely be back to try more!

Absolutely Amazing!
Hands down the best taco spot in town! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The tortillas were soft and warm, the fillings were packed with flavor, and the toppings were just right. Service was fast and super friendly too! If you’re looking for authentic, delicious tacos, this is the place. Highly recommend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Mmmmm
The 1st day I went the tacos were really good. The 2nd 2 times I went they were just ok. I like my shells to be fried with the oil so they are kind of crunchy, but they don’t do that, I must have just gotten lucky the 1st day.

Low quality meat. Asada had bones and cartilage chunks. No chips and salsa brought to your table..Clean inside and the lady at the register was nice. Very strange decorations… Reminds you of long John silvers with weirdly dangled ropes hanging from the ceiling. Tried a gordita and the breading was thick and flavorless. Green salsa had a nice kick and was decently flavorful.

Delicious and authentic Mexican food, friendly staff, wonderful service! So glad this restaurant has come to Alger Heights. Now I can live content in the greatest neighborhood in all of West Michigan! Chips and salsa, served free of charge (as it should always be). We are regulars, and plan to keep this place in business!
ALSO!!! In summer we’ve got Ashby’s ICE CREAM! Delicious!
TIP—> Tuesday special is 3 tacos, rice & beans & a drink for $9 bucks! Burrito special Friday for $8.99.

Burrito was great; well seasoned. A bit on the salty side. Sauce bottles added a nice spice. I also had some ice cream. Was disappointed that the spoon was weak and easily bent when trying to get a scoop but everything was yummy. Wasn’t busy.

Despite the fact that they are always out of something( onion, cilantro, etc etc ) the food quality us pretty good and the ingredients are fresh.

Tacos Don Beto’s serves up awesome food at a great price. What a great location with plenty of parking around back if you cannot find a place on the street. Have eaten there for both lunch and dinner and not been disappointed.
