Five starts great Japanese food restaurant!
Sashimi and sushi are all fresh! I have tried many Japanese food in Japan and Taiwan, and the Tsuki might be even better than most of them. If you want to try fresh and local favor Japanese food, come here. If you want to try Taiwan favor dishes, come here!
The owner may also invent new cuisine occasionally and you can discovery new secret menu if lucky!
All staffs are kind and like family, you can relax and enjoy home-like vibe here!
Wish I can be here again soon!
Highly recommend the California roll

We’ve been to Tsuki a few times over the years. It’s a good sushi place, but I wouldn’t call it great. It’s not our favorite in the area (that honor belongs to Tsuru) but it’s a good option when we don’t want to drive as far. The sushi selection is good, though some of the special rolls are hit and miss. The atmosphere feels a little dingy and stuffy, especially when sitting far from the windows inside. It’s borderline claustrophobic. Service is good overall, though every time we kindly ask for a different table, it feels like it’s a huge imposition. Overall still recommended.

I love their special rolls. Some are not on the menu anymore but they will still make them when we come in. Been coming for a very long time and they take very good care of us. Highly recommend.

The positives: friendly service, and 2 dishes that were very nice – the grilled eggplant app and the kids bento box.
Unfortunately the rest of our sushi experience was brought down by the bland, slightly gummy rice and the soy sauce that had zero flavor. I’ve never seen soy sauce this light and diluted.
There is a lot of potential here if these things could be addressed.

One of my favorite sushi restaurants anywhere, we lived out of state traveling the west coast for several years and tried many “great” sushi spots.. and I am always happy to come back to New Jersey and get some Tsuki – the owner, his wife, and their staff are always very welcoming and hospitable, and the sushi is top notch. They are consistently creating new delicious rolls, so don’t forget to check the menu online before you come to see what the chef is creating that month.
Some favorites
– Buddy roll
– Bobby roll
– toolbox
– excellent(sub with shrimp tempura)
– zebra
– lemon fish special app

If you’re considering it, try them! You won’t be disappointed, they are great for take out as well, just be mindful they get slammed on the weekend so order at least 45 minutes before you want your food.

It is very loud when they have groups at the Hibachi tables.
We do like the food and eat here a few times a month, for many years.
Sushi and Hibachi platters are both good.

Conichee-WOW!! This was the freshest sushi I’ve ever encountered. Rivaled the fresh haddock my meemaw caught and filleted with her bare paws (RIP). They kept the rolls rolling, and the soy sauce flowing. I recommend the chicken karage and you gotta get the mochi brochi. 10/10

Had a nice time at this sushi spot. The staff was friendly, the booths cozy, and the food delicious. Loved the spicy salmon with asparagus roll – it had a great crunch. Plus, no judgment on pre-dinner cannabis use, which was obvious from our voracious appetite, made for a relaxed vibe. Definitely recommending this place
