We visited Masala Twist Express today with my family, and the food was absolutely delicious! I tried the Chicken Fried Rice — it was very flavorful. The mutton biryani had an amazing, mouth-watering aroma. The Chicken Tikka Kebab was excellent and perfectly cooked.
Their Kerala porotta with masala beef roast was truly authentic and outstanding. I’ve tried many Indian restaurants in the Dallas area, but I haven’t experienced this kind of taste anywhere else.
The Rasmalai was the perfect dessert to finish the meal. Service was excellent, and the cleanliness and atmosphere were above and beyond.

it was my first time trying indian food and i loved it! food was so delicious and service was amazing! i received a free mango drink and a coupon for my next visit great service. definitely coming back soon

I ordered online for pickup at the Sachse location and got the “authentic plate” tikka masala combo with fries and a drink, plus extra roti. Sent a family membe to picked up my order. When I got my food at home, I found out that they forgot to include the drink that was supposed to come with the combo. On top of that, the “authentic plate” did not include any rice at all.
The photos on their website clearly show curry served with rice, so this was very misleading. I paid $21.25 for this order, and for that price, receiving a small cup of curry with no rice felt not worth it.
When I called, mentioned the missing drink, I was told they would “compensate me next time,” but honestly, I don’t plan on going back. The portion size and value were not worth the price, and the experience overall was disappointing.
I requested a refund for my drink and received a refund of $1.99 back which is better than i have to go back.

OMG! Talk about amazing food! Every Indian food around me is Americanized but this place is truly authentic and delicious! I can’t wait to go back! The service was super nice and friendly!

Masala Twist was such a great find. It’s quaint, clean, and has a warm, inviting atmosphere. The setup is a bit like a cafeteria—you order at the register, and your meal is brought to your table in a to‑go box. The two women who helped us were very friendly. We interacted with Sony, one of the servers, who was energetic and excited to explain how they prepare their dishes, genuinely wanting our feedback. I told her their Tikka Masala was the best I’ve ever had. Their Naan tasted fresh and delicious, and I really enjoyed the Roti as well. It’s wonderful to finally have an Indian restaurant in Sachse that I can visit often!

Masala Twist Express is a surprisingly adorable restaurant nestled off Miles Rd near Sachse HS. The atmosphere, staff and amazing freshly prepared dishes will have you returning over and over.
We were greeted as soon as we walked in and the beautiful wood tones and warm decor set the mood for a delicious experience. The menu and dishes were explained and we ordered a variety to sample the different flavors.
The food! It’s oh my goodness good! Every bite is a delight! First, the soft drinks are made with pure cane sugar, and the tea is very good. We tried the samosa appetizer, tasty and good with mint and a sweet dipping sauces. My husband got a Create your own Bowl with rice and chicken vindaloo sauce. He liked it but was jealous of my tikka masala lol. I got the chicken tikka masala and tandoori chicken with butter naan bread.
Let me praise the tandoori chicken, it is so good with a complex mix of spices that made me go “Oh!” It was so yummy. I’ll be popping in to buy that often! The chicken tikka masala is roll your eyes amazing. I could have that every day for a month and not get bored. Naan bread is perfect to lick the bowl clean. We enjoyed the fries, but with all the other dishes they were a little neglected. They are fresh and very good.
I’ll end by saying this was a 5 star experience. The food 100%, the staff so friendly and attentive 100% and the warm, intimate atmosphere is a nice change from bright, loud and fast foody. Hurry over soon Sachse and surrounding areas! We want this place to be here a long time.

We had a great experience here! There was plenty of seating available, and the decor was stylish and inviting. We enjoyed everything we ordered especially the butter chicken, which was rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced. I tried the baked potato chicken tikka, which was a unique twist and surprisingly delicious. The fried fish, recommended by the staff, was another standout (wish we had remembered to snap a photo before digging in!). The kids absolutely loved the mango lassi—it was the perfect treat. Friendly service and a solid menu; we’ll definitely be back!

5 stars across the board! I brought my 5 year old son with me to lunch and we shared a chicken tikka masala, rice, and garlic naan. The food was delicious. The portions were generous. The service was friendly and attentive. It feels like a family business. The interior of the restaurant is attractive and well decorated, including the bathroom. The atmosphere is lovely. I would absolutely visit this restaurant again. We very much enjoyed it.
