Hands down one of the BEST dining experiences I’ve had in New Smyrna Beach! From the moment my best friend (visiting from Wisconsin) and I walked into Da Kine Poke Bowl, we were greeted by two of the sweetest, most welcoming girls. Their energy alone made us excited to be there!
They had just added some new menu items, and I was really hoping to try the Argentine shrimp. I asked if it could be added directly into my poke bowl instead of ordering the entrée, and without hesitation they said, “Of course!” Not only that, they asked if I wanted them to peel the shrimp for me before adding it to my bowl.
I also realized after they started my bowl that I forgot to add avocado. Again, no hesitation at all, they happily added it in and still somehow made my meal look absolutely STUNNING.
The food was incredibly fresh, bursting with color, flavor, and texture. Every bite was perfect! On top of that, the customer service was truly top-notch—friendly, accommodating, and very genuine. We even had the pleasure of meeting the manager, who was just as kind and wonderful as her team.
I promised I’d leave a glowing review so the owner could see how AMAZING this location is, and I truly hope they do! I’m bummed I didn’t catch the girls’ names, but I will never forget their beautiful faces and outstanding service.
I HIGHLY recommend stopping in for the same experience we had. I will be back VERY soon! Until next time, girls — thank you so much!!

The staff there are so friendly! A young girl served me today. She looked like she was training but it was so pleasant to have someone be so nice and smile. The food was really good. It’s great to have healthy food options so close to the beach. The place was cute and they gave me a huge portion for the price. I will be back for sure.

I am a big poke fan back home in Indiana. This place met my expectations and then some!! For 15 bucks (through doordash) I was able to get a full meal of high quality fish and some of the best poke ever! The warmed rice went excellent with the toppings! Overall one of my new favorite places!

Used to be my favorite poke place but last time we went it wasn’t a good experience. We drove 25 minutes to go pick up our food. When we got it the order was messed up, we had no forks, and the bottom of my bowl was completely soaked with grease. It made a disgusting mess in my car. There was also a bit of confusion because the sign said they were closed when we got there? At 2pm? Heard it was new owners so maybe it’s that. Hopefully it gets better…

The people there are absolutely incredible! They are so nice and always willing to help out! Their food is also incredible, so satisfying to look at but also taste amazing! I would definitely highly recommend this place to anyone visiting and local!

Based on the conversation other patrons were having with the restaurant staff, Da Kine NSB has been open for business for a while and is known as a safe poke option by locals. I built my own bowl with spinach, salmon and 8 toppings (you can get up to 8 without an extra charge, which is nice) and everything was fresh. 4 stars because it wasn’t outstanding poke, just a regular poke spot averaging $16/bowl. Service was very friendly and the our bowls were prepared quickly. A positive late lunch experience overall.

Used to be straight fire, but for some reason they close early randomly. Drove 20 minutes for some poke and they just closed up shop early I guess. Also last 2 times I’ve went they’ve been out of salmon. It’s great poke if they are actually there to run the place or order fish.

During my second visit, I went with a bowl that was recommended by the gentleman at the counter. BUT the El Diablo poke bowl was so incredibly salty that I had to remove as much of the toppings as possible. It was so overly salty that I truly thought it had to be a mistake or something! I was so confused on how this bowl could be the top seller. Salmon and avocado were fresh though. I will return but will opt for a different selection or I will customize my own bowl.
