We’ve been having lunch at China House for many years and have always enjoyed the food, but our most recent visit will unfortunately be our last. The food on the buffet was noticeably cold, and while eating a pork dumpling I realized halfway through that the center was completely raw. On my way to the restroom, I also saw a cockroach crawling across the hallway. When it came time to pay, their internet was down and they ran our card multiple times before asking if we had cash. When the card still wouldn’t process, they asked to write down the card information, which we were not comfortable with, so I had to walk to a nearby bank for cash while my mother waited at the restaurant. Between the unsafe food, visible pests, and how the situation was handled, we no longer feel comfortable dining here.

I was going to lunch with a friend and we thought we’d give this place a try. I got there first and went in to get us a table. When I walked in, I was greeted by one of the staff with “Ya?”. I was a little stunned by that and was then hit with a “Do you want something?”. That’s certainly no way to treat a potential paying customer. Needless to say, I just turned around and walked out.

Orange Chicken was burnt and they added what looked to be red bell peppers to it. Beef chow mein was under-cooked and they added in sprouts when told not to add in, there was no other veggies such as carrots or cabbage. The Chow mein tasted like it was cooked with cigarettes. Food seemed like it was old food they just reheated to serve it. Fries were not salted. A better place to order from is Hong Kong Chinese Restaurant.

This place can clean up and do some upgrades. It’s 2022 they’ve been here since early 2000’s at least and have not done any improvements whatsoever! Desperately needed. I think they stopped using the ac or it’s broken because they have cheap little Walmart fans in the walk way thru out the restaurant.

Look how filthy their light switch is. That is just disgusting. We’re Americans you Chinese need to treat us better and have more respect for our Country. Invest in America, do not just live here to make money off of us. Honestly what does a light switch cost and they really have the audacity to have such a filthy one up. Don’t even look like they care about customers! Or care to be clean or keep up with standards. Just imagine how their kitchen looks and their pots they cook with.

I stopped by Monday around 5:00pm there were no egg rolls out so I asked for some and the lady said there are no more egg rolls for the day. I ask for chicken on a stick she said how many do I want I said 4 she said she can only give me 2 if I want 4 she will have to charge me $1.60 each. Mind you these are buffet items supposed to be under the steam table. Where you either get charged buffet for eat in or by the pound for take out. I was taking out. Everything they had under their steam tables were dried out completely, nothing was really edible at all. I ask for rice because there was hardly any and what was there was dried out. They bring rice it was only white rice with egg peas and carrots. They’re supposed to put like bbq pork in it or something, some type of meat but they did not. In my opinion they are being cheap and trying to rip customers off. They deserve to be looked into because that’s sketchy business. I wish a secret shopper would stop by there. The main lady that’s been working the front forever is rude and impatient, really rude when I asked her for soy sauce she put 2 in there. She rushes you out after you pay like I’m already leaving duh chill

They leave their food under the warmer so long it dries out. Chicken will be all dried out. Rice dries out. Mushrooms start to look like raisins because they’re losing plumpness from drying out. They also put a lot of sauce on everything, if you’re taking out a lot of the cost will be from the weight of their thick sauces. It’s like the food dries out so they add more sauce or they just put a ton of sauce to begin with because they know they’re going to leave it under the warmer until it sells in either buffet or take out.

3 stars because I’m not Chinese so to me it’s authentic, when it’s fresh it is better than Panda Express! Usually if you’re taking out you have to wait 15-20 minutes for them to bring out more chow mein, rice, orange chicken, mushroom chicken, beef broccoli, kung pao, egg rolls, etc. When the egg rolls are in the warmer too long they’re less crispy and super greasy

Pretty much everything because the serving trays are usually less than halfway and drying out with the sauce just thickening under the warmer.

We have been going to China House for years. Always loved the food. We moved a few years back and have not been here in a couple years. Unfortunately, todays visit was not enjoyable. The food was cold and was not even close to as good as it used to be. Im sorry to say it but it was terrible. We will not be going back! The service is always great and the atmosphere is nice and is clean. But the food was not good at all!!

Not a huge menu but it makes up with quality. You don’t leave, feeling full and weighed down. Food is made with just the right amount of seasoning and not the oily aftertaste like most Chinese restaurants have when they are trying to get stuff done and cooked up fast

This is my family’s go to for delivery for chinese food. The last time there were items that were forgotten in the order. I called this time to ask questions and they were extremely rude. I don’t think this will ever be our go to again.
