In 2002, Kono’s began in Haleiwa in the North Shore. We’ve been selling our signature Kalua pork (pulled pork) in our Famous Breakfast Bombers, Sandwiches, and Plate lunches for 15 years. Kono’s has been voted #1 Plate Lunch, Best Breakfast, Restaurant under $29 a person, and Best Cheap eats on Oahu for the past 2 years in a row. We also cater to those with a sweet tooth, with specialty smoothies, hand-crafted milkshakes, and fresh squeezed lemon and limeades. Kono’s has built a growing following of both locals and tourists. Since our humble beginnings in Haleiwa, we have grown to a total of 5 Kono’s locations (Haleiwa, Kaimuki, and Kailua) across the Oahu as well as 1 in the Las Vegas area. We are here for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner.

Got their Kalua pulled pork plate and their bomber was delicious.
The pork was amazing in both dishes and the eggs were fluffy. Their hawaiian sauce with the plate blew me away.

Having lived in HI for 3 years, I can honestly say this branch is a perfect representation of the original Haleiwa Konos. Same awesome quality of food (notably the bombers), passionate staff, and a relaxing atmosphere. I was shocked to see the restaurant branched out to continental US and was even more shocked to enjoy their food like I regularly used to on island.

We have been waiting for Kono’s Northshore to open and they definitely didn’t disappoint. Excellent restaurant direct from Hawaii .
Truly authentic Hawaiian food and the atmosphere of the restaurant too, so relaxing and welcoming! Everything was fresh and super delicious !
We had the Biscuits Slider Trio and the Pork Plate lunch . The pork was so tender and flavorful. Their 12-hours slow-roasted Kalua pulled pork is absolutely delicious and you can definitely taste the difference. The Biscuits Slider Trio were amazing too , so filling and the gravy was sooooooo good !!!!
We also had their freshly squeezed lemonades and hand-crafted shakes . Also , everything was so great, the lemonades were so refreshing and the shakes were so sweet and delicious .
The prices and portions are very reasonable, cannot really go wrong here whatever you order!
The staff is super friendly and welcoming, the manager and the entire team make the experience great . From the moment you enter the restaurant you feel invited and appreciated .
Overall: the entire experience was excellent. We cannot wait to go back and we highly recommend it!!!

I ordered the Kalua pulled pork plate and the bomber both were absolutely delicious! The pork was tender and flavorful in each dish, and the eggs were perfectly fluffy. The Hawaiian sauce that came with the plate completely blew me away!

First time trying Kono’s Northshore and it was delicious! The Old school sandwich was tasty and the big pig quesadilla was excellent! Also tried out the mud pie milkshake and the coconut cream pie milkshake and both were delicious. Easy parking out front and the staff was very nice! Great place with comfortable dining and a large menu. They are known for the pork and it is something you should try. The milkshakes are incredible and they have a large selection of flavors. Breakfast or lunch you will have a great time at Konos!

Ate here for the first time yesterday and it was great. I had the three breakfast biscuit sliders, which were very tasty. The coffee is real Hawaiian coffee — so good! And the service was amazing. Highly recommend.

Interesting roasted Kahlua pork. I think I tasted sweet bbq sauce simmered with it. The mac salad was “al-dente” and not enough mayo. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for traditional hawaiian.
