This restaurant sits on the boardwalk of Captree State Park overlooking the fishing boats and the boardwalk, and we had the most wonderful lunch! The lobster rolls were incredible, the muscles in white white sauce with garlic and butter was outstanding, and the fish and chips was crunchy and fresh and beautiful. Most of all, however, were two members of the staff who went well overboard to address our particular needs with my mother‘s wheelchair and hearing issues, Charlene and Annie. Both of these women made absolutely sure that we were in comfortable and quiet seating because we were with my mom who is elderly, and the restaurant was quite busy downstairs so they put us upstairs in this absolutely beautiful room overlooking everything. We can’t say enough. Just outstanding!

The service here was god awful… I waiting nearly half an hour to just receive my appetizer which not only was expensive but was very underwhelming for its price 6 mozzarella sticks for $15!! This is absolutely absurd and inexcusable. The bathrooms were maybe as dirty as it was outside in the dining area, as we were about to sit down the servers had cleaned up the tables but also left the table half done and was still absolutely filthy. For $30 you can receive a mediocre lobster roll that a bodega on the corner can make for not only cheaper but fresher and more delicious. I will never come here again nor will I ever inform others to come here as this is the worst experience I’ve had to this date or ever in my 43 years of living.

We held an event for a 17th birthday a few days ago. Everything was perfect. Marybeth is a sweet and doting manager, Elyse was the premier party planner and stayed around well into the event to make sure my daughter was happy, the staff was very friendly and attentive. All the food that my daughter asked for came out great. All the guests, kids and adults, had a great time and loved the venue. They packed us up enough to go boxes to last a few more days! Oh and the sunset that just didn’t quit! It made a photo op that lasted for like 20 minutes or more. I highly recommend catering an event there.

I am sorry to say I was disappointed. First , I found the upstairs dirty, felt like I was in an attic where a few tables were quickly thrown together. There was no difference between the tiki bar and upstairs menu, food was cold when we got it, bathrooms filthy. This was probably a “shame on me” situation where I thought the caliber of food and overall experience would have been better. Hardly any desserts and no coffee? Can you believe that? I remember going here many years ago and the menu was so much better. Waitress was nice and band was good. For a better ambience. Just stay downstairs at Tiki Joes.

Imagine eating seafood, while looking at the water. The ambiance was great! All of our food was delicious – seared tuna, lobster roll. Drinks were great! Our server, Marta, was attentive and accommodating. In all the experience was perfect. I highly recommend!

Nice place, great water front view. Has life music. Food was okay. We ordered fried calamari and mussels both were extremely salty. We also ordered Burgers and shrimp tacos. Tacos were delicious.

Was there a few weeks ago thought the food was really good. I had the burger was big cooked perfect. Kids had softshell crab sandwiches they enjoyed. My favorite was the baked clams. They had diced onion and peppers with mozzarella in them really delicious. We sat outside nice view of the water was a good time.

We went there for lunch yesterday. Two things stood out: 1. One of the meals we ordered was fish and chips. Fish cutlet that was served was still frozen inside. When I informed the staff, they gave me 25% off. Ha ha. 2. Meal portions were small with lots of fries. Lobster roll was super small for the price they have. Same with calamari. Price and quantity or quality do not match. In other words, don’t go there if you don’t have to.
