Amazing experience! First off the views are drop dead gorgeous. I was simply awestruck. The food was also fantastic! I ordered the popcorn chicken bites which were delicious and you can hardly tell it’s not chicken. The tamari ranch was to die for and the buffalo sauce was great too. I also got the loaded hashbrowns and they were cooked to perfection, crispy outside and soft inside. The chai later was delicious. My friend got gochu sliders and they were amazing too. And she said the tuna boats were delicious. Overall all of the food and sauces have amazing flavor profiles and the overall experience is very unique. The service was super fast and friendly. This place is a hidden gem for sure and I can’t wait to spend a few spring and summer nights on that balcony!

We spent the weekend enjoying all that Staunton, Waynesboro, and the surrounding areas have to offer. Of course as someone who lives a vegan lifestyle it was important to find a restaurant that offered thoughtful plant-based dishes and I will shout at the top of the mountain that Bar Botanical did not disappoint. The ability to enjoy a Bloody Mary, and an entire delicious meal without having to modify or ask a plethora of questions made the experience relaxing. Speaking of relaxing, that view was the icing on the cake. My personal favorite was the “crab” cakes, the best I’ve ever tasted. Thank you Bar Botanical for making this possible.

If you or someone you are with is vegan or vegetarian, go here. The whole menu is vegan, so no issues checking all the ingredients etc. And if you are not vegetarian or vegan, no problem, you’ll don’t miss the meat. Food is great, service is great and the atmosphere is great, highly recommend if you are in the Crozet area.

First time at Bar Botanical. Fabulous renovation with a great outdoor patio area. The staff was attentive and super friendly. Food and drinks wonderful! We had the lentil tacos, wonton nachos and Caesar salad all tasty and colorful. The Casablanca cocktail was just ok, but the Juicebox was excellent! Will definitely come back!

We drove from Lake Anna to try this since we love their Charlottesville location. The food was incredible (no surprise). My sister used to have crab cakes all the time before going vegan and said that these were as close to the real thing as you can get. I enjoyed the sliders. We love that they are bringing in people from outside the vegan community! It goes to show how delicious plant-based food can be when made right.
The building is set up a bit strange so the restaurant isn’t the easiest to find. It’s also not a proper “sit down” experience – first come, first serve seating and you have to order through the Toast app/website on your phone (no servers).

We loooved dinner at Bar Botanical. Everything was delicious, the place was quiet and comfortable, and we love having vegan options nearby. Do try the “cheesecake” for dessert! (I wanted to post a photo of my drink, but it was gone before I remembered to take one!)

I love love LOVE this place! To be transparent – I am not vegan but it does not matter at all – the food is always fresh, delicious and creative. I have tried nearly every dish on the menu and cocktails and particularly am in awe of the crab cakes and sliders. Staff are a delight and I am so glad they remember my name now when I pop in. The wines are great selections as well And the events! Thank you – thank you – THANK YOU for debuting drag performances in Crozet! Absolutely have a blast at these and look forward to more. Glad to see heaters installed on the roof as hoping to keep being out there in winter. Photos of me enjoying the venue (with performing guest artists!) and to say waves to you all

What a great spot in Crozet! The food is really good & flavorful. You’d never know it was plant-based. Bartender was really nice and helpful. Atmosphere has a great vibe. Highly recommend. We’ll be back!
