I recently visited Crumpets with my husband, and it was such a delightful experience. The space itself is charming and unique—right down to the tables, which are creatively made from old doors salvaged from the building next door. It gives the whole place a cozy, eclectic personality that matches the owner perfectly.
We tried two crumpets, and my favorite by far was the Lox—a delicious combination of smoked salmon, cream cheese, and all the right accompaniments. The white peony tea was a wonderful recommendation, light and fragrant, and my husband loved his French press coffee, which was rich and flavorful.
Crumpets is one of those spots you can’t help but tell everyone about. It’s warm, memorable, and truly a hidden gem worth seeking out.

Excellent!, the crumpets are amazing. The clotted cream is delicious and every jam I have tried has been great.
However, the hours of operation are not reliable, which is quite disappointing when you go out of your way because Google says they are open and you get to the door and it says they’re opening late or not on that date. That is why I could not give a five star review

I love Crumpets! The flavors there are so delicious, not too sugary and unique. Also the shop is very cute inside. It’s fun to eat your treat and look across the street at the characters around 7/11! One of my favorite places in Rochester.

Everything I’ve had at crumpets has been absolutely delicious and I love living within walking distance. The whole place is so cozy it’s wonderful to sit and drink tea at, and the staff is kind and very friendly. It’s a small business so if you’re worried about them being open I recommend calling first.

First of all, the bathrooms are really clean, which is a huge Plus in my mind. The atmosphere is great. The staff was wonderful and went out of their way to ask us questions about our preferences. I had a savory and a sweet crumpet. My daughter was almost in tears because she loved the sweet one so much. It was not expensive. We will definitely be back and I just want the owner to know that they Yelp listing has not been claimed by the owner yet. You might want to do that!

Crumpets a little pricy for the amount but you pay for the novelty and experience. The crumpets tasted good though

The person who served me could have been more friendlier. This was my first time coming in, after I seen this business on the too good to go app. I thought oh let me try them on my own. Paid full price because I was unable to get a surprise bag off the app. The crumpets are delicious! Definitely a good little treat. But don’t know if I would come back after being treated like I’m a nobody after trying to make conversation with the guy who was serving me.
I would definitely say if you want people to come back and support your business be friendly!!!! Especially when they are paying full price and not getting a deal off the too good to go app.

Absolutely lovely place to stop at when the chance arrives. Plenty of toppings to choose from and a very good selection of teas! While I didn’t dine in myself, I caught a glimpse of the tea sets they use and they’re absolutely adorable. A fantastic place for an afternoon tea date.

What a cute spot! The food was amazing – the crumpet with clotted cream and orange curd was the winner for us out of the 3 we shared. We also loved the pot of tea and delicious coffee that we had. The decor is trendy and the staff is passionate & kind. We’ll be back!
