We grabbed take out from Masala Kitchen on Saturday night. We had the Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, 2 Samosas and Naan. The food was some of the best Indian we have had since leaving Portland. Perfectly cooked, presentation was great, and the happy hour special was a nice deal. Highly recommend them for take out or when at Tall Man Brewing. Sorry no photos because we needed to eat…..Go check them out.

Hands down my favorite food at Tallman Brewing. Butter chicken, chicken Tikka, chaat, samosas, Aloo Gobi and the fluffy rice all delicious! And my personal favorite: garlic naan.

Customer service is incredible. I had forgotten to order my usual spicy sauce so they reminded me before I left. Mind you it had been more than a month since I’d been there last. They are so kind and sweet. The food is exceptionally good. You can’t go wrong here. Portions are more than adequate for the price.

I love and know Indian food. I cook it at home. I know a little more than the average consumer when it comes to what goes into certain dishes. So as a visiting customer I asked the woman behind the counter if the chef used chicken thigh meat or breast meat for the butter chicken. She answered ‘thigh.’ Sold! Ok Butter Chicken extra spicy please. After 25 minutes I received chicken breast marinated in a cream sauce with ZERO spice. Extra spicy should be just that. It was a let down and I feel like they have one level of flavor and spice options sold as a choice. Breast meat is dry. Thigh meat is not. Frustrating let down for dinner but at least I got an exposure to Oregon Indian food.
