was over in Melbourne for work and stopped in for lunch. the Tom Yum Noodle Soup was – without question – one of the best bowls of soup I’ve ever had. perfect balance of spice and flavor, tons of noodles and chicken. it made me a little teary eyed TBH. service and vibe also a 11/10. can’t wait to be back over on this part of the state to visit again – legit might be worth the drive from central Florida just to eat here.

I came here on my quest to find a restaurant that could serve food to the level of spiciness that I was looking for, as so far others had let me down (often the food was very good, but not as spicy as I was hoping). I very clearly described how hot I wanted it, much hotter than “Thai Hot” (there is probably something wrong with me, but oh well), and she relayed all this to the cook. When she came back with the food she informed me how many scoops of the different crushed peppers he had used, and also provided a small cup of crushed pepper on the side so I could add more if I wanted. The food was not only the hottest I had gotten from any restaurant (at a very pleasing heat level), but it was absolutely delicious (and would be wonderful at any heat level). She came back several times while I was eating to make sure everything was OK and was very friendly and sincere. The atmosphere is wonderful, I love all the unique artwork. Also, there are cookies they sell at the register that I was told are made fresh daily by the owners daughter, I decided to buy a baggie to go…. OMG do yourself a favor and get some, these were some of the best cookies I had ever had! Super pleased with this place and will definitely be going back!

I still struggle to describe this style of food to people, but I am always sure to emphasize how much I enjoy it.

I would come in to Chez Quan’s while working on my car. It’s become a bit of a tradition between my buddy and I that when we’re tired, sweaty, and dirty – we go to Chez Quan’s to give us the energy to continue!

5 out of 5 stars – but be warned: when they say “spicy” they mean SPICY!

Order and pick up the grub w no drama ✔️
Sink teef in2 phoRITO and cure evening hunger ✔️ ✅☑️

I wonder if they came up with the name phoRITO before the sandwich itself, it’s the sharknado of entrees and I approve.

The food here is amazing, and I love that they have other options besides Asian cuisine so picky kids like my son have more options. The panang curry was spot on, as well as the pad thai. I ordered both to try! My son ordered a meatball sub and for 12 bucks it was HUGE with 18 meatballs in it. On Aurora rd the inside of the restaurant isn’t the prettiest but they keep it clean and the service is excellent.

First time trying this place. Order online for pickup and it was quick and efficient! The Thai beef salad was mild spicy how I love it and the fish sauce dressing was amazing, doesn’t need anything to add to it. Definitely have to order that again for hubby. The kids loved the fried rice and same with fried egg on it! The boys tore it up! Idk know where I have been, but Adam has another foodie follower along with 10 of her friends on Facebook who told me so.

Awesome local spot for authentic Thai food. The staff were friendly and attentive. We ordered Thai basil, beef salad over fried rice, basil fried rice, kids noodles, empanada, and Thai tea.

Everything was flavoured perfect.

The interior is very eye catching and great for conversation starter.

Literally the best food in Melbourne. This is actually real food. I had forgotten what real food was like after moving to Melbourne. Get Adam’s favorite, trust me.

This is definitely a hole in the wall restaurant and very family style, like you’re eating in someone’s big living room. My goal is to try everything on the menu and so far I haven’t been disappointed! So many places have let me down in Melbourne but this place is just good food and I can’t recommend it enough.

I didn’t get the hype ‍♀️ I really wanted to love this place after seeing many good reviews and it being close to my house. We dined in, there was 2 other tables with ppl. My first impression was hole in the wall restaurant (very old chairs, wore out paint and plastic cups) but I was still open minded about the food being awesome. I ordered the curry chicken empanada. Unfortunately it was bland and I had trouble finding the chicken. We ordered the Tom yum fried rice and Pad Thai as entrees. I enjoyed the Pad Thia but the Tom Yum fried rice had a overbearing flavor of lime. Sorry guys but I think “needs improvement” is my overall review.
