I’m not going to say it’s the BEST Mexican I’ve had, but I don’t mean that in a bad way. It’s tasty, it’s good. I’m giving 5 stars on value and service. I got a full basket of chips and salsa with my #5 lunch special, a generously stuffed taco and burrito with a great portion of rice, to drink I always order water….8 bucks. A ton of food for 8 bucks. I felt like I was back in time with normal prices with all that food for the price. Not to mention I had my food in front of me by the time I ate my second chip. Fantastic experience.

This is my go to Mexican place. Any El Patron is a welcome sight! I like the fajitas, Especial El Primo, chile rellenos, and fried ice cream. The large draft beers in the frozen clay mugs are great. Many memories here, highly recommend. The salsa is always great!

My meal was good hers was trash.Our waiter was excellent!! atmosphere sucked. Wish they would have recommended the specials. That was on the chalkboard before we actually placed our order. That costed a lot of money, all in all, I would not go back but one meal of ours is good. That’s about all I can say one meal of the 2 was good. But I would not recommend, and I will not go back.

Me and my wife and kids just had lunch, they wasnt busy so it took all of 5mins for our food to be brought out. EXCELLENT FOOD and wait staff very friendly. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and hope to be in toown again sometime to stop by again.

This place formely known as El Jalisco.. well a lot has changed to improve for better. The selected Aguas Frescas are really good, sweet and enjoyable. Perfect to refresh our taste buds during this hot summer time. The place has a enjoyable atmosphere with a very peticular mexican theme on it. Food selection is good. Tastes good. The portion is decent and is enough for a meal. Remember cheese dip and guacamole dip are very must have to start off with. Prices are just decent and right compare to average mexican places that fits the budget and will not break the piggy bank. I really recommend the place, I have not tried any liquor drinks from the bar but I’ll make sure i try next time.

El Patrón in Fultondale has to be my favorite place to eat at. Their service is second to none. Every person that works there will go out of their way to make your dining experience one to remember. I’ve visited El Patron several times, and each time the experience gets better. They truly treat you like part of their family. I can’t say enough about how great this place is, every aspect of the dining experience is top tier. Food, service, and atmosphere are always spot on.

I love Mexican food and this place didn’t disappoint. Not only was the service wonderful, the food was delicious and well seasoned, and it came out fast and hot. This will be my definite go to for reasonable price great Mexican food.
