The Shagor was Established in 1999, we are a proud family run restaurant that goes into depths, above and beyond to look after our customers and thus is the reason for our longstanding. We also have a Function room that’s seats 100 people, with a dance floor, bar, speakers and lighting included and always inclusive of a buffet! We have held many charity, wedding, birthday do’s…. We can always host big table bookings inside the restaurant, no table too small! Any info needed by any of our customers… just call our family team! We now offer Buffet on….. A 5pm booking on a Sunday with two tables and I think 17 people.
It was very straightforward, the waiters were attentive with requests for drinks and desserts and we could go straight to the buffet which has a nice selection and the food was tasty enough
We felt comfortable in there as a group as the atmosphere was relaxed.

Nice place to have an Indian meal very nice clean authentic curry house. Plush and very welcoming. Food is good with extensive as you expect menu. It’s very nice to find a decent curry expectation. Must try again.

good thing about shagor is their portion size, very generous, they have a buffet on certain days (cant remember which days) if you would like to have an unlimited Indian food night, it covers the basic options which you could find on Indian takeaway menu.

I’ve never heard of the Shagor until a friend suggested it for lunch. The restaurant was empty at lunch time, notwithstanding, the food was exceptional…I mean really good. I ordered fish curry and two lamb dishes, rice and poppadoms. Its a little expensive, but I would certainly recommend it.

Not been here for quite a few years. Me and my better half thought let’s have a nice curry night. Had a butter chicken tikka masala and my wife a vegetarian dish with sides. The food was lovely and service excellent. Will be returning again very soon.
