The owner nickels and dimes you for everything! The food isn’t that great and is always running out of things. The interior is super old and has lots of rips in the booths. I had to wait over an hour one time for my food, and when I asked for a discount the owner outright said no. Never apologized to me for having to wait for a long time either.

This review has come very many months late! I visited this place while on vacation from Miami and the service and food was excellent! I would definitely recommend Raul’s Mexican restaurant to anyone in the area without hesitation! Authentic Mexican food, great service, and very reasonable prices!

I ordered late from DoorDash. My nachos were perfect. Great toppings, fresh and not skimpy on the food. Price was affordable. I appreciate the quality at what was probably the end of their day. I’ll definitely return to try other items.

I love this place! The staff is always SO NICE and the food is great. The chips and salsa remind me of old Pascual’s in Santa Barbara (which is a good thing!) The tacos are HUGE, the prices are reasonable and they have some great specials throughout the week. Even though this particular spot is out of the way, it’s worth the drive.

I have started writing this review even before I get my main dish! They have the best salsa I have ever had. The salsa is more than a bare mix of tomato, onions and cilantro. They must have the secret receipt for this salsa! The chips also is prepared in house (not Costco chip). I feel the warmth in the chip as it comes out of the oven. It is not overdone and not thick and tough like pork rind. It is pleasantly light on salt and refreshingly crispy. the main dish stake is here. It tastes great but I am definitely impressed by chip and salsa. The waitress are friendly.

I’m not going to lie, my family and I go there very often so we’ve become regular clients and the ladies are always very nice to us. They’ve been since the start, not only do we like the food but we definitely appreciate the great customer service. Personally the Tamarindo Margarita’s on the Rick’s are my favorite for the wife is the strawberry blended.

Not bad and not great either.. I order a steak and to be honest the portion was huge.. Lots of food for the price. That said. The meat was tough and fibrous though the flavor was good. It is not the cheapest i tried for sure.. But it is not expensive either.. I would go again if i am in the area but i wouldn’t make a trip

Loved the food!!! The carne asada tacos and supreme burrito are delicious!!! I love that spicy salsa and the warm, thin chips. The older gentleman that helped us made me give them 4 stars instead of 5. He acted like we were a bother when I asked to buy additional chips and salsa and gave a heavy sigh when I asked for a menu. Food’s great, service not so much.

I really enjoyed Raul’s. First and foremost the food was spectacular. This was the first shredded beef taco I actually loved and the chicken enchilada was fantastic. The service was also extremely friendly and it was obvious that this is a family owned restaurant.
