This is the second time I received COLD to Luke warm food early in the afternoon.
Normally, around 12 p.m., I call to confirm if they have jerk chicken ready before I come in to order my food.
This time when I placed my order around 1pm in person, I expected the food to be hot this time, once I got my sauce (not to mention the jerk sauce was cold too!) and went to my car to eat; I bit into the jerk chicken and it was cold. It is disgusting to have to pay $20+ thinking you’re going to enjoy hot food at a Jamaican restaurant where the owner doesn’t even have good customer service, just to receive cold food not once but TWICE. Including, tries charging you a higher price if you are not a “regular” for example: charging people $16 for a $12 meal. And what’s baffling is this same owner turns around and plays Christian music but yet you’re robbing people. Not to mention, giving customers old rice that tastes like it’s been sitting in the back since yesterday.
This restaurant used to be good, but at this point, this is just unacceptable, I’ll never return again.

First time here—and absolutely not the last.

The food? Solid. Deep, rich, real Jamaican cooking—the kind that doesn’t try to impress, it just is. The prices? More than fair. You’re getting flavor, culture, and comfort without breaking the bank.

What really sealed it? The man in front of me, fresh off a flight from Jamaica, FaceTiming his sister back home just to show her the place. That kind of authenticity doesn’t come in branding—it comes in the sauce, the spice, the way the room smells when the kitchen’s alive.

A small restaurant with a big soul and a menu that makes you want to come back and try everything.
Ill be back. And I’ll bring friends.

Great place,wide assortment of products/food,competitive price,polite staff.
One of the first thing that I noticed was the amount of people in the line – shows that people like what they are doing.
There are 2 things that I could not see any sign post anywhere, the location may be a challenge, plaza outlet at an intersection.Everything else were passing grades.

This place will never again receive any of my service. I literally stood at the counter for over 10 minutes with no one in line, yelling for service and no one came. The guy who works behind the meat counter X acted like I was ghost the entire time. If that’s the way they act with their customers, I’ll never be one again.

We bought the large oxtail for $23 and the portion was a little smaller than expected. Also the flavor of the rice and peas was bland and the oxtail was just ok. The cowfoot soup was very good though.

Traditional island foods served hot and fresh. If you’re new to island foods they will help you get something delicious.
I will definitely be going back. Take out only.

This spot is hands down the best Jamaican restaurant in PSL! The oxtails are DELICIOUS —easily the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve had my share. Every dish is consistently flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and never overly salty.
I love that it’s a specialty market as well. I like to browse their selection of seasonings and unique goodies whenever I visit. My whole family is hooked on the fresh juices they carry—they’re absolutely delicious! I’ve never had an “off day” with their food; it’s always spot-on. If you’re looking for authentic, high-quality Jamaican cuisine, I recommend D&D. A solid 10/10!

Definitely my go to Jamaican restaurant! I grew up in Port Saint Lucie and currently live in Boston and every time I come back to visit I come here and they never disappoint! Also way better than jerk city lol. I got 2 Beef patties, the jerk pork with rice & peas and cabbage and it also came with 2 plantains! D&D is delicious and will recommend to anyone who asks.

Great authentic fresh food. great staff small location and very busy but they seem to knock out orders quickly. We had a line of 10 people in front of us and we were in and out within 10 minutes. Ox tail was great along with the jerk chicken. Beef patties were coming out fresh fresh when we finished our food so we had to get a couple of those and they were exactly what we wanted. They load up your orders too. My wife and I had our lunch in our car and took the rest home for dinner
