We’ve lived in the area for 10 years and the service and quality here has progressively gotten worse in the last couple of years. I think this last order we made tonight will also be our last order period. The food arrived a little late, but was barely warm. Instructions were to hand me the order, the driver left it leaning on our front step, LEANING! Has the driver never seen cheese slide off a pizza before? It only ended up ok because, again the pizza was almost cold. Also he didn’t ring the doorbell. The breadsticks were burnt. It was a waste of money. Yes it’s cheaper than other places, but when I really don’t want to eat it anymore you are better off paying more for something appetizing vs. something I’m forcing myself to eat to not let it go to waste. Seriously, do yourself a favor and just do carryout at the 10 other pizza places in Kyle that are easily better than this location.

This happened today 12/12 PLEASE READ! Ordered a pizza from them and found what looked like hard plastic in one of the pizzas. Looked like a containers might had chipped. Called back to notify the manager and she was incredibly rude and dismissive. She offered a quality pizza but we’d opted to escalate with corporate (which she’d told us was our other option) because of the rudeness and the fact that the store isn’t able to issue refunds. After requesting the contact, she again rudely told us to look it up in the app. When told she could be less dismissive about the issue, she ended the call with “hope you have a good day”.
Completely unnecessary and uncalled for. Not apologetic or remorseful for our experience. If this is management, this store should start from scratch with staff.

My kid had seen a commercial for their new Parm pizza. He wanted to order it. It had been a hot minute since I had ordered Papa Johns and figured I would give them another shot. I downloaded their app and signed up for their rewards program. The ordering on the app was easy. I ordered two speciality pizza’s. There was a discount code I used for 25% off. I did find that even with the discount code, the two pizzas were almost $40. I thought that was a tad bit over priced.
When you order the speciality pizzas, it would be nice if you could order the type of crust you would like. Papa John’s crusts are too “doughy” and lack any flavor. I would have preferred a thinner crust.
In looking at these other reviews who gave this place 1 star’s, perhaps you should have driven in to pick your pizza up, instead of having it delivered. If you have it delivered, there are things that can go wrong. If you live so close, stop being lazy and drive your happy self over to pick it up, instead of whining about how the delivery sucked.
I was surprised that the pizza was going to take over 30 minutes. All of the other pizza competitors are way faster than Papa John’s. I drive over to pick my pizzas up. I did notice that no one in the store was wearing hairnets or gloves. There was also bins of raw pizza dough sitting out uncovered. The manager who rang me up was covered in flour and looked like she was not sure if she was coming or going. I have seen other pizza joints way busier and better equipped. I did get my pizza and went home.
The Parm pizza had a good flavor for it. The crust was crisp and the sauce was flavorful. The stuff crust pizza I had was good. The toppings were nicely sliced and not “soggy” as some pizza places have them when they cook the pizza.
I would have rated them much higher, but after seeing the mess the store was in, the uncovered dough and lack of safely procedures, I took them down a notch. Papa John’s is ok in a pinch. If I wanted that much bread, I would have ordered a sandwich. To the reviewers to gave this place 1 star, you guys need a get a clue as you sound like whining babies.

25 extra minutes for well done and then it’s burnt. I know it doesn’t take that long to make a pizza well done. Then she let it sit there until she was ready to hand it to me. Like her time was more important. Terrible customer service. We will not be going back .

Great friendly staff! This Papa John’s is the only one that stays open late for carryout, so I make the drive from Kyle. Their pizza is always fresh, and the chicken wings are on point.
