Magoo’s is the definition of a clam shack. Although it’s not near the ocean, it’s still serving good fried seafood.
Located on the Goffstown rail trail. It’s convenient stop if you’re on foot, bike, or car. There is outdoor seating on picnic tables.
Inside, it’s a one-man show. The cook takes your order and yells out to you when it’s ready.
We got the clam plate. It’s enough for two. It has a generous portion of clams and fries. It’s served with coleslaw, tartar sauce, and ketchup. The clams were very good. The fries were your standard steak fry, typical of a clam shack.
We wanted to try their homemade chowdah, but unfortunately, they were sold out

This place looks rough on the out side but do not let that deter you. The food is amazing. You will get hooked for the type of food it is. My favorite is the gyro. Best in the area!!

No frills but that’s what we like here! Good food and friendly service. A great roadside eatery with only outdoor seating. Been coming here since I was a kid. So happy this iconic New England drive-in is still here after at least 50 years! There is usually no line, but it is a 1 man operation so there can be a wait. The owner recommends calling in your order to avoid a wait.

Owner is incredibly friendly and fun to talk to. Food is fantastic. We got hot dogs and a fish & chips basket, both of them were out of this world. It’s not often I’m impressed by a hot dog!

Look, it is not a big fancy restaurant with all the frills.. but it is amazing and worth every penny. The fish is hands down the best we have had in the area and the chicken tenders are juicy and incredible. All of the food is fresh, served in generous portions and made with absolute love! Magoos is a MUST TRY!

Location: This place has great parking and is in a good location.
Customer service: The gentleman reciprocated the same pleasantries that I extended to him. Nothing more or less. Appearance was dirty hair with no net and greasy clothing with dirty boots and apron.
Cleanliness: The outside was neat and appeared to be clean. You park in the same are you eat. I feel like it needs barrier to block cars and patrons.
Inside is filthy, dark cobwebs in every corner. Fan over grill on blade broken off and no screens. Floors jad hard board boxes with grease on them and black. Very burnt fishy smell in buildind. Very hot and not temp controlled. Small wait area cluttered and grill black with grease. Most lights out in the location or dem.
Food: I got fish and chips. Very large portions and the fish didnt smell fresh but was not bad at all.
Fish was very greasy and this is a sign of old grease. Also a little salty. I was not offered additional condiments for the amout of food. The coleslaw had no taste at all.

Ate here during a bike ride from Goffstown to Salem along the rail trail. Great place. Made.me a hot dog and ice cream cone which was all I needed. Nice guy. Great hot dog with grill marks. Added a lot to my bike trip.
