My dad has dementia and has recently been enjoying eating a select variety of repeat meals. The last 6 or so months he’s been loving eating Subway about once a week – but only if they come from this specific location. This Subway consistently makes the best sandwiches! I always order ahead and use the perks on the app, and the staff often take the time to label my sandwiches so I know which is mine and which is my dad’s. I recently ordered at the Subway at Sunset Station and the staff unfortunately swapped the veggies on our sandwich orders and made the food unenjoyable. This Subway always creates BEAUTIFUL sandwiches, exactly as ordered, that feel worth the value I pay. I appreciate how urgently the staff are paying attention to orders also, as I have accidentally arrived 5 or so minutes ahead of schedule a couple of times and the staff had just finished my sandwiches. I really just appreciate the work ethic this team has, and this is coming from someone who orders at least weekly. Because of how great of service I had from the start, we order more frequently than I ever planned!

Dear Javier Zuniga,
I am writing to bring to your attention an issue I experienced at the Subway located at 689 N Stephanie St.
During my recent visit on 9/4/2025 at 10:50am, I attempted to use the ”get TWO footings for $13.99” coupon. Unfortunately, the employee assisting me, declined to honor the coupon and did not provide an explanation as to why it could not be accepted. She repeated multiple times “you can’t use it”. After reading the terms and conditions, it was to my knowledge this coupon was VALID for the sandwiches I ordered and did not exclude anything I was ordering. I asked the worker if she can please kindly show me where on the coupon it says I can’t use this coupon for the two footings I ordered; she proceeded by saying “I already told you that you can’t use it. The machine won’t accept that coupon because you can’t use it.” Her manner was very rude and condescending. Another customer over heard everything and even realized her rude manner.
I would greatly appreciate clarification regarding the coupon policy, as well as assurance that employees are properly informed so customers can have a positive experience. I have included an image of the coupon below, as well as the employees host number and our receipt.

Steer clear. It is dead for a reason.. Skimps on everything, and when asking for more you’re told the manager only allows ‘x’ amount of ‘veggie/sauce’ per sub. Keep in mind my request was not outrageous, it was for a few more of one veggie, and there were only two types of veggies on the sub. Go to a better quality sub shop, down the road, or ANY WHERE ELSE.

The sandwiches here are good, but not great. Wow how the prices have gone up. Gone are the days where you can stop in during your lunch break and grab a quick bite for cheap. If you don’t get whats on promo, it’ll bankrupt you. They’re good, but not that good.

We got 2 foot long tuna sandwiches yesterday and went home. Both of the sandwiches had hard bread! My wife called to just tell them and whoever answered the phone didn’t even care! Not good customer service at all and obviously they don’t care about what they serve their customers! Lost my business!

I don’t recommend this location AT ALL. The customer service is Lacking. I got a spicy Italian…with spinach. Actually “bit of Extra spinach please” was said…multiple times as each time, my “sandwich artist” named LAURA would then proceed to grab 2-4 Individual leafs of spinach -_- so at the 3rd request for “bit more spinach please?” her reply was “that’s it…WE DON’T HAVE ANYMORE SPINACH”… That’s when the other customers and myself kinda looked at each other and i proceeded to reply (AND POINT OUT) “There’s a full bin of spinach here…& Here” (2 FULL bins of spinach that the other customers can clearly SEE as well) and Laura replied (with attitude) “we can’t do more…for each sandwich, that’s it”. Word of advise (ESPECIALLY in Customer Service)…DO NOT LIE TO A CUSTOMER! As you All can CLEARLY SEE in my picture provided…. You can BARELY tell my sandwich even has spinach -_- Needles to say this left a VERY BAD “taste in my mouth” and i will no longer be returning. I will also let this be known throughout my contacts. I hope Mr. Monterola (District Manager) can correct such poor service, this location definitely needs it!

There was practically no wait and the young lady that helped us was nice. There was attention to detail when putting the sandwich together. Ingredients and bread seemed fresh for the most part. The best part was the fresh baked cookies were fully stocked that Sunday afternoon
I also appreciated the seating options inside the restaurant. Me and my kids were able to eat our food comfortably on one of the booths.

We went to subway on Friday night 8/22/25 and the guy that helped us was extremely rude. It was like he did not want to be there. He was not nice nor respectful at all. It’s a shame because the sandwiches were great but the experience was terrible.
