The wings were genuinely solid, and the atmosphere and drinks made this feel like a place with real potential. That said, the pizza completely undermined the experience. Service was understandably limited with only two people working on a Saturday, but it crossed from slow into almost nonexistent. We waited nearly an hour for the pizza, and when it arrived, it looked careless and poorly executed, with uneven slices, displaced toppings, and no real structure. It honestly looked mishandled before being served. The taste didn’t redeem it either. This place clearly excels at wings and drinks, but pizza is not a strength. Come for what they do well, but skip the pizza entirely.

It’s about what you expect from a sports bar atmosphere wise. Kinda “grimy” but again, to be expected from a place like this. But why on earth did the waitress keep disappearing?! She would take one table’s order then be gone for 15+ minutes. She did say normally she isn’t a waitress. So what was she doing? Was she cooking? Genuinely don’t know. We ordered apps and drinks and entrees. I had a cherry coke which was good. The 8 dollars pretzels were decent, though I wish they had cheese not honey mustard. And the entree was way too expensive. The menu (which is pictured) says ALL ENTREES GET A SIDE. Mine came WITHOUT. I asked the “waitress” where my side was and she said “The quesadilla doesn’t get a side.” I didn’t argue at the time because I didn’t have a menu in front of me and thought I had made the mistake. I was later able to look and I did not. Not only that, but the quesadilla was somehow 21 dollars???!!! It says 20. Extremely unhappy with the service. We weren’t the only ones who were unhappy either. I try to be kind in these reviews. I really do. I love food. I love going on trips. This was just really scammy. “The menu is out of date”. THEN DON’T HAND IT TO CUSTOMERS. I would have demanded the quesadilla taken off the check under different circumstances. And honestly, I should have.

Awesome atmosphere. Good sports bar, but not limited to that. Very amiable to wrestling too. Cocktails are stellar, great selection of what they have on tap. Wings are worth the bang for your buck. Drinks won’t wreck your wallet either.

We just moved to Newton and wanted to find a place that would feel homey and we nailed it on our first try. What a delight. Great food, great prices and great company. We look forward to adding this place into our regular family rotation of eateries. The fish and chips and boneless wings were lovely.

I’ve been by this place so many times I don’t want to count. Heard about it for years also. There’s some reason we went here for dinner tonight, and we had a burger and steak and cheese sub. Great bar food! Sandwiches were super good bar food. In today’s marketplace, the food prices were very fair or even some.mighr say low. I definitely hope to go back soon. Superb waitress… I can’t believe the place was almost empty on a weekend night!! Must not be fancy enough, but hey, I go for the food, and the food was definitely worth a repeat visit!!

Wings always good. Had the pizza for the first time 1_10 about a 7.5 good size and crispy crust. Definitely get it again. Drinks are also good. 4/24/22 Didn’t see pizza on the menu anymore, but the wings are still awesome. And the salad was fresh and crispy. We usually go once or twice a month.
