Give me back dig 17A!!! I’m not sure if owners changed or staff or what. But when this place was dig 17A the food was amazing, atmosphere was great, and timing was normal. First I will mention that the greeting upon entering is the same “welcome have a seat wherever you like!” From the time we walked in to the time we got our food was a HOUR. Now it’s our first or second time being here under the new name/ownership, and it is not good! I got French toast and bacon. A simple meal one would think. My French toast BLAND and BURNT, my bacon undercooked. My husband got a blt sandwich and bacon cheese fries, his food mostly edible, the bacon on the sandwich was sub par, bacon on the fries was perfect. Make that make sense. Our child got waffles and bacon, his bacon was perfect and waffles also perfect which thank god because I would have an even bigger problem. I’m not blaming the waitress! She seemed to be the only one besides the bartender and she was great everything else was not good! Not to mention I watched about 4-5 plates GO BACK to the kitchen while waiting for our food. Before tip was $50 for 2 adults and a child for not even an edible meal! So sad! Please give me back dig 17A when the food was great and atmosphere was better

Sharing Life’s Moments
We’ve eaten here a couple of times now. They need more staff to take care of the customers, but the food it good! You can clearly see the staff they have are trying to keep up with the demand. I do declare they are becoming more popular each time I go in there, but for good reason!

They offer reasonable pricing, great food, and a clean atmosphere.

They seem to have specials worth checking out often and community events that are fun and enjoyable.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Millers at Carnes for lunch, and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and attentive service set the tone for a delightful meal.

I decided to try the tuna stack, which was a beautifully presented dish featuring layers of fresh tuna and fried green tomatoes. The combination was nothing short of delightful; the flavors melded perfectly, and the crispy texture of the tomatoes complemented the tender tuna wonderfully. It was a dish that truly showcased the chef’s creativity and skill.

To accompany this fantastic entrée, I couldn’t resist ordering their house-made onion rings. These were a revelation! Crispy, golden, and bursting with flavor, they were the perfect side. And paired with the chipotle ranch, they took the experience to another level.

Overall, Millers at Carnes exceeded my expectations with their stellar service, delicious food, and cozy atmosphere. I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great meal!

First time here since they opened under new ownership. I had catfish nuggets and tater tots. All of the food arrived very hot and crispy. The catfish stayed warm throughout the entire meal and was extremely delicious. Nothing was over spiced or over seasoned which allows you to actually taste the food.

Candice, our server was very polite and attentive but no where near annoying. If she is your server, you will be treated well!!

My husband took me to Millers for all you can eat crab legs, wasn’t to sure since I had only eaten there once before,Well I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The place was mobbed and yet the service was good, when they say all you can eat boy do they mean it, the young man walked around with the crab legs and my plate was always full. The crab legs were big clusters with plenty of crab in each one, they were excellent. The place is not fancy, very casual tavern atmosphere with great service and great food.

I was there a couple weeks ago. The greeter at the door went above and beyond. It was AYCE Crablegs night. She was patient and polite. I learned later she was the owner. Once seated, it was all hands on deck. Practically everyone who passed our table acknowledged us and asked if we needed anything. I was impressed with the two young men serving Crablegs. They kept the Crablegs coming. The bonus was they had manners and polite. This is not a fancy place but the service was impeccable. I won’t remember the decor but I’ll always remember how I was treated ❤️

Don’t waste your time or money. Our server was cute w/ long brown/blonde hair and that was her only saving grace. To say she was a horrible server is an understatement. My First bite of their “Philly Chicken sandwich” was nothing but chopped gristle and for me, that’s a hard no! Gross and disgusting!
I didn’t take another bite. I did eat some of the tater-tots and drank my tea, which she never came back to our table for a refill. She served our order w/ no flatware or napkins. The only time she came back to our table was to check us out. . I told her about the gristle sandwich and felt I shouldn’t pay for it. We asked for the owner only to be told she wouldn’t come out. She informed me that if I didn’t pay she would call the police, which by this time I was ready for the police to come. Finally the owners mother came over and after explaining my situation, she took care of my bill. I can’t stress enough about how horrible our server was. I’m 63yrs old and I have never encountered a person with such poor people skills. If your servers are condescending and rude, it won’t matter the quality of food you serve.

We tried this down-home restaurant for the first time today and were impressed. The menu is extensive and varied, plus there are daily specials and brunch offerings on the weekends. The server Pam was EXTREMELY busy but kept everything humming very well until another server arrived. Orders were prepared correctly and were substantial, especially considering that we ordered ‘appetizers’–they were delicious and we’d order them again. We’ll definitely return and expect to enjoy the porch when the weather permits.

Very friendly and attentive. The bartender Hanna step from behind the bar to get us drinks for our server. Team work! Or waiting was very friendly and accommodating! We will be back, there were 4 of us!
