I think the food is awesome. But depending on who’s working is what kind of service you get. Every time I order I’m ALWAYS given onions & pickles on the side, for my brisket sandwiches. I notice only when certain people are working they want to charge me. This has never happened in the past but now it’s happening off and on. When I question it they say it’s always been like that. Now I’m not old…my memory is perfectly fine…so I know it hasn’t ALWAYS been like that. I’ve been a customer for 5+ years & will continued to be one because the food is great.

BBQ tasted like old fashioned Texas BBQ. The prices were reasonable for their products. The brisket was lean, the pinto beans were slow cooked and the potato salad was chunky and well balanced. The basic family meal fed the three of us very well. The staff were really nice as well

Love the bbq here! Had the brisket sandwich after the first bite I said WOW!!! It taste so good and was hot like it just came off the pit. Im from San Antonio and I’ll definitely be coming back! Prices are great and the staff too!

I have definitely had much better bbq. Brisket was actually too fatty. Pork ribs were bland and the tea was soured. Restaurant needs a handyman! Surprised the health department hasn’t said anything about the paper and yes I said paper toilet lid. Will never consider this restaurant again!

We had brisket plates. Meat was plentiful and tasty. Baked potato casserole was delicious. Green beans were good. Tea tasted fresh and flavorful. The two women serving the food were pleasant and friendly.

Stopped in on way back to Brownsville TX after Xmas vacation. Read reviews & took a chance. Glad we did. Very tasty & moist brisket & baby back ribs. Not too much spices & very meaty. Friendly & fast service. Only con I can say is bbq sauce cold & ketchupy tasting. Reason for 4 stars.

You want Texas BBQ? This is your standard Texas bbq joint. Brisket, sausage, ribs, chicken, Cole slaw, potatoes salad, and beans. I really liked the sausage. The brisket flat was a tad dry, but still good. They keep it on the point, and the point is always fatty- so that’s as expected. Dad enjoyed the chicken.
