Had an AMAZING brunch at Sunflower Cafe. Cannot say enough great things about this restaurant! Our server, Cayla, was fabulous, every suggestion she made was on point and she was so friendly and attentive. Met the owner, who stopped by and chatted with us, this is a family run business and everything including the delicious desserts are made on premises. I can’t wait to go back for dinner, it is quite a ride for me but well worth the trip! This place will NOT disappoint!!

Since my discovery of this very enchanting French cuisine restaurant ; everyone that comes out to visit me I take there for the very well curated and delicious menu they have on offer each time.
I have tried almost everything so far ; what I love the most about this restaurant is I would never in my life eat frog legs until Sunflower Cafe!
Stacey Hansen is the only person that has changed that . Stacey and her business partner Katherine have enabled me to broaden my food palate to the point I take every opportunity to go and enjoy the ambience and my company . I have celebrated my birthday twice there and my mother’s. This is a place you leave with your appetite and taste buds thoroughly satisfied.
I am an absolute fan of Stacey , Katherine and this beautiful experience they have created .

We had the BEST time at Sunflower Cafè for a birthday celebration. The food was top notch, and the service was impeccable! The birthday cake was absolutely fabulous- moist and very tasty! Arrived for a four o’clock reservation Christmas Eve.Greeted and seated within 5 minutes.The room was simply decorated pretty single flower and candle.
My husband ordered a beer and came in a lovely fluted Pilsner glass.
The appetizers a butternut squash soup,crab cakes.
The dinners were duck and sole almandine.
desserts orange crème brûlée and silk and satin cake.coffee.
I can’t pick out stand outs because they were all perfect.
Reminded me of a restaurant in Northern Vermont.Where I could taste all ingredients.
The waitress was perfect wish I got her name.

Went to lunch with my grandmother today. The owner and her daughter were wonderful. Friendly, accommodating and so much more. Our waitress, Kayla was fabulous!! The food was delicious and the dessert was even better! The atmosphere was so bright, cheery and clean. The service was spot on. 10/10 recommend . We will be back soon!

Took my mother in law out for Mother’s Day today… the food was incredible! We got the frog legs for an app wish I had a picture…so good. We all really enjoyed it. We meet the owner Stacy…she was very appreciative and helpful with my mother in laws catering order. I will most certainly be coming back and telling my family about this place!

We met these lovely ladies and amazing food atvthw apple festival. We bought bacon quiche and lingerie tarts. Fresh, full of flavor and delicious. The tarts were soft to chew and filled with raspberry goodness. The restaurant has brunch on weekends.and worth the trip into Bayport.

We really loved Sunflower Cafe! The food was markedly better than most in the area, especially the dessert! Their portions were generous, and the staff were very professional and friendly. We will definitely come back.
My only criticism is the name—it’s upscale French cuisine, not a cutesy coffee shop/bakery as you might think from its name, though I do think they make their own bread, which was incredible. Anyway, minor detail! Had we not heard about the restaurant from someone else, we never would have known. No other complaints; this place was fantastic. Can’t wait for the next date night there.

This place is a hidden gem! My, father and I have been going there for quite some time now and food and hospitality is always consistent!!!!! Food and menu are well thought out and prepared to perfection! Food is always fresh and highest quality!!! The owner and her daughter make you feel like family! The atmosphere is cozy, clean, quaint, and very enjoy able. The staff and all team members make sure you are treated 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I highly recommend sunflower cafe!!!!!

Went last night for dinner and it was amazing! Beautiful atmosphere, food delicious and the service was on point. Our server (I believe her name was Kala) was excellent with recommendations everything she suggested was excellent! Have not had a dinner like that in a long time. The owner even came over to introduce herself, wonderful person. We really had a GREAT time and will be back!
