This was our first time here after passing this place for years we decided to stop and try it OMG so glad we did!!!.
We got the rib and pork dinner that comes with two sides. First the ribs are amazing. They are so fall of the bone tender and the smoke taste is filled with flavor. For the success we got Mac and cheese which was ok, collard greens on point, and the baked beans, on point. The pulled pork was good but I do wish it wasn’t as wet, I like a little bit more burnt end type, but again the smoke flavor was outstanding, oohh I can’t forget about the smoked sausage, want to talk about a flavor bomb. It’s was hard for me to share that one!
The portions and prices are on point as well.

We were driving by and the smell of smoked perfection made us stop in our tracks. Without exaggeration, Basil’s barbecue ribs are the best ribs I’ve ever eaten in my life. They came with sauce and bread, but I didn’t need either one. I don’t even think they were dry-rub. I think they just smoke the ribs so well, using the best cuts of non-fatty pork, that any extras are just unnecessary. I’m mad we only got one slab! ✊

I saw Basils BBQ truck while driving and it smelled amazing. I circled back a couple of hours later and the truck was still there and had the half chicken with macaroni and baked beans. It was delicious and the service was quick! I plan on getting some Basils BBQ every other weekend now 🙂

I’m not sure where this mysterious BBQ place is, but every time I try and find it at this location it’s never there. Went there today, went there last Saturday, no BBQ. I’d love to try it someday.
