The steak, eggs and grits were exceptional. My boyfriend had their chicken and waffles and he loved it too!! The prices were very reasonable. We came here randomly to kill some time and it did not disappoint. We will definitely be coming back

Always been a huge fan of their Demon Lover, but the Potter Creek was really good as well. Excellent place, really friendly service and great interior. One of my favorite breakfast spots in Berkeley.

The chicken a waffles are second to none. Get it with the gravy. You will not be disappointed. Expect a wait on weekends. Not much to do in the area but they’ll give you coffee if you ask for it. One of the best brunches in the East Bay.

900 Grayson was phenomenal.

Ordered the Demon Lover (Chicken & Waffles). You have a choice of syrup, gravy, or both. I ordered both. Chicken was seasoned well and waffle was soft. Overall very flavorful. 900 Grayson also has their own sauces that elevate the flavor.

The ambience of this place was amazing. Music was pretty great too. The decor, incredible.

Customer service was impeccable. My partner never once had to ask for a refill on his tea. Staff was attentive and polite.

You can tell that the people who run 900 Grayson truly care about their customers and their restaurant.

Cute cafe with normal sized portions, no massive plates of food which is either left uneaten or you need to take away. Great ambiance with background music in a lovely historic building. Food was decent without being hugely memorable, service warm and friendly

I gave 1 star because there’s no 0!
I love this place been coming for years.I got a to go order. But today I ordered the Demon lover chicken and waffles I always get this and it was terrible. The chicken was not totally fried it was more like soft stale leftover! worst of all the must have forgotten the spices on the breading of the chicken because it was flavorless!!! The chicken is usually fried and crunchy and the seasoning is amazing u can just pick up bits of fried breading and it’s delicious but not today nothing crunchy and no flavor. Usually you can see the seasoning and tasted it. and the waffle was not cooked all the way. The syrup was watery and light colored. Usually it’s better quality syrup. I payed around $18 for this. I would have gone back to ask them to make another one but this was my breakfast on my way to work so I didn’t have time to go back and wait. I won’t be coming back there’s other places cheaper but I was willing to spend $18 for this because it’s usually great but today it wasn’t worth half of it. I felt like I got ripped off and disappointed because I was really looking forward to this meal all week.

Chicken and waffles for breakfast were amazing. They offer syrup or gravy or both. Go either both because it gives you sweet and savory. Their service was extremely efficient and friendly- the owner even came over and talked to me, telling me him and his brother own it. Atmosphere is great and food came out hot. I ordered their special sausage of the day- jalapeño pepperjack, which was also great and homemade! Last but not least, they make their own hot sauces which are not overly spicy, but give you a kick. Give them a try too.

If you’re looking for a cute spot with perfect execution, look no further.

900 Grayson in Berkeley is a great breakfast & lunch restaurant that attracts a loyal following of dedicated customers who are in love with their delicious menu items. While we were visiting from New York, we heard that we had to plan to at least come here for breakfast! We were very impressed with their service and our delicious breakfast!

It’s absolutely horrible!!! The vibe is really backwoods 1970 diner, the tables are sticky and the chairs are dated and dirty. The patio seems chill enough. I’ve been to dives and hole in the walls with great food. This place was neither. Owned assumingly by two brothers who both were BEYOND RUDE. The fried chicken wasn’t bad, but the gravy for the demon sandwich tasted like it came out of a can, and they added butter and sugar. I had the ceaser salad, the avocados were fresh though the dressing was watered down and very bitter and the lettuc tasted dirty. When you asked for anything, the man huffed and puffed, snatched things off the tabled, and acted bothered the entire time serving us. The waffle looked beaten up and deflated. The syrup was watered-down as well. My daughter’s friend burger was burnt extra dry, with odd orange looking garinsh. They wanted to be upscale towards the end with garbage food. The bbq tasted like ketup, the burger was dry and overcooked, the space was dirty, and the service was horrific!!! Not once did they refresh, refill, or ask about the quality of our food. We wash our vegetables! I took one bite of that salad and left it there. A nightmare experience. If you love good gravy, real flavor, and a clean up beat environment, this place isn’t it! Not the place for US…
