Cozy, counter-serve joint serving basic Chinese dishes such as rice noodles & chicken with broccoli.

Small take out joint, cash only. Friendly service, price is economical. Wonderful juicy dumplings for a chilly day. Today is my 65th birthday & what a surprise! Look at the cute cover on this takeout. With a smile emoji, it says “Have a Nice Day” Yes, I’m happy!

I am very shocked by the portion size for the price, the lady at the counter gave me a load ton of noodles (Vegetables Lo Mein) which filled up my entire container. This much of noodles for 6 bucks is an absolute steal, The counter lady was also very nice and knew I was hungry. Thanks for the great experience Ding Ho

I absolutely love this place. It’s everything I grew up with in my hometown’s hood (from Oakland, California): hearty, working class, Chinese fast food. Yeah, it’s quantity over quality—but don’t get it twisted. For a $5 combo, you can carb load and stack up your favorite protein or vegetable. Add a little extra, and for $7, double down and get twice as many toppings filled to the brim. Trust me. It’s that good.
Cash only; no indoor seating, just two stools outside. Owner(s) is/are great because they can speak in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin (maybe other dialects too). Buffet style; great when you’re on the go. Pro tip: come early if you want your food piping hot. If you must arrive near closing, some dishes may be sold out but there’s almost always leftovers to go around.
Moral of the story: Ding Ho’s got some of the best, affordable, comfort food in Boston’s Chinatown. Whether you’re a college student looking to eat outside of a dining hall or in the workforce trying to eat on a budget (or anyone in between), please visit!! I definitely will.

food was surprisingly fast and cheap, i thought maybe the noodles would be greasy and taste cheap, but nope these were actually very high quality noodles. this spot is a life saver for living in the area. tofu is extremely soft but the flavor was good enough for me to forgive it. i added some of my own vegetables and sauce to this and had it for lunch and dinner and had a great time. do not be foolish and live here while being ignorant of ding ho.

For $5, this place is a true quantity over quality deal, with heaps of lo mein and the chicken with onion, which is the best choice. The tofu isn’t great but chicken or vegetable dishes are a safe bet.The rice noodles are also a great deal and a not bad quality. It’s quick and easy, best place to grab lunch when you’re on the go

Awesome cash only spot on the edge of Chinatown! Quality and price cannot disappoint, got the combo noodle and fried rice with curry chicken and braised chicken, and steamed flat rice noodle. Yummy and not oily. So good, the humble and delicious rice noodle is fluffy and fresh, the best I’ve had in Boston. Owner very nice. Next time I want to try the hot and sour soup!

I was ecstatic to come eat some dumplings here but they only take cash so be mindful of that. It’s a small place they are set up buffet style so you choose what you want and pay at the end and keep it going. There’s two chairs outside for those that decide to eat here. It looked delicious but I never had the chance to eat here because I had no cash.

Super good, super fast, and super cheap. We wanted a tasty quick lunch while touring China town and this place hit the spot. Just walk through and point at what meat and what noodles you want and walk out the other door. The chicken with oyster sauce tasted better and was more tender than some of the more expensive Chinese places I’ve eaten.

CASH ONLY!! My plate costed me $8, options seems like it’s the exact same as prior reviews. Onion chicken, curry chicken, boiled broccoli, tofu. Food was okay, you can easily make it at home. Chase bank right across the street to take out cash.

I had the fried rice with chicken, and it was amazing! The portion size was generous and definitely worth the price. Just a heads-up—the fast food isn’t available for dine-in, so you’ll need to take it to go and it’s cash only, so be prepared. But overall, it’s a great value for money.
