This restaurant is a true 5 star experience. I don’t know if the locals realize how fortunate they are to have this restaurant in their town but I’m so lucky to have stopped through!
I could not believe how many items were housemade! The chef’s salada Siciliana with housemade dressing was so flavorful. Housemade sausage over penne with the chef’s marinara is the best I’ve ever had. As someone who appreciates the most unique sauces, this marinara is so decadent and flavorful. I only want marinara from La Rocca’s.
The cheese tortellini were heavenly cheese filled pillows atop a cloud of creamy Alfredo with sliced almonds that added a necessary crunch and light almond flavor.
I was so happily full that the limoncello cake had to come home with me. Off to bed I go to dream of my dinner this evening.. Thanks Emma and Chef for an amazing dinner! I’ll be back whenever I’m in town.

We have ordered takeout for several years and the food is acceptable but nothing to brag about. The pizza (thin crust is all we have had) and the best that Oregon has to offer. The fettuccine has runny sauce and the noodles are not traditional fettuccine noodles. The meat sauce lasagne is good but not enough red sauce. You can’t go wrong with any of the desserts, the tiramisu is the rockstar at this establishment.

Real Italian. We had Spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were amazing. Spaghetti was cooked perfectly. Very good wines to complement the dishes. Canoli was amazing. The flavor snuck up on you. At first it was unassuming then all of a sudden it was amazing. Lemoncello cake was light and airy with delicious lemon flavor and creamy lemon frosting.

Clearly, the reviews made on here was by a bunch of people who have no idea what seasonings are.
We decided to stop here before a show and what a mistake we made. Our food took nearly an hour to get to our table which is hilarious cause we all kept hearing microwave beeps come from the kitchen and watched the two cooks just stand around.
When I got my Alfredo, the sauce was runny and didn’t taste like Alfredo sauce at all. If Alfredo tasted that sauce, he would regret leaving Italy. My friend got chicken which looked like canned meat I feed to my cat after he regurgitated it.
The restaurant had crud on the wall next to our table.
Don’t recommend going here.

Small town comfort despite the growing pressure around it. The cooks still walk pies out from the back warming on the oven as opposed to some chain that leaves it cold on the shelf. They cater to the cute old locals for early dinner. Despite an influx of rich grumps from California and Texas or wherever else this place remains relaxed and delicious for affordable pizza. Judging by the regular grey hairs early in the evening I would wager taking a date here wouldn’t be a miss for flavor. Glad the shop has remained in operation despite the patriarch passing away.

I’m going to start with the good. Lobster ravioli was great. The meat sauce on the tortellini was good. The wine was good and at a good price. The bread was warm. Now the bad. The service was poor. They sat us at our reservation time, but were so focused on takeout pizza, we did not get attention or water for 15 minutes. House salad was all lettuce and few bits of vegetables. When entrees were served, we were asked if we would be needing boxes and if we were going to order dessert. Tortellini meat filling was tasteless and appeared not to be made on site and not tossed in the sauce. Crème brûlée was half cold and half warm and the custard was broken. The cannolo shell was crisp but the filling had 4 chocolate chips and no pistachios. I have been to this restaurant at least 6 times and the best description would be wild inconsistency. My advice is order the lobster ravioli or go to the Olive Garden.

After waiting over 2 hours and fifteen minutes for dishes I could only describe as extremely tiny. We had checked previous reviews. Before deciding… We saw photos of the food others had experienced and were shocked by the comparison. It appears the consistency of their dishes and efficiency of their kitchen are certainly not their top priorities. One chicken fettuccine alfredo with runny sauce. With thin sliced and flattened chicken. One shrimp gluten-free, fettuccine alfredo, with five tiny shrimp had thick sauce. Which was made with gluten-free spaghetti noodles. It was also painfully clear they were entirely focused on take out orders, instead of those six tables dining in. Two dishes and two waters, cost us $ 54….Terrible first experience. Will Not be returning.

Amazing authentic quality to everything they do. Best pizza I’ve found in Madison area. The butternut squash ravioli is superb. Don’t forget to save room for a cannoli! (The one issue is they’re a little unorganized so a 35 minute wait probably actually means an hour. Build in some timing flexibility but it’s well worth it.)

Two lasagna and cheese bread. Two tables are already sitting. Table of two adults and three kids sit 5 minutes after us. They get their pizza in a half hour. Finish and leave. Man ,by himself, sat 20 minutes after us, gets his meal, and I’ve had it! It’s now over an hour, and we don’t even have the cheese bread. Started talking with our server about what is taking so long, and the hostess decided that she wanted in on the conversation. Straight out with an attitude. As far as I’m concerned, “Sorry, But bla bla bla” is not an apology. She didn’t come over with concern for us and our experience at their restaurant. No, she came over to “defend” the waitress and make excuses. I was being polite to our waitress, I was calm and talking quietly, I just wanted to know what was taking so long. She explained that the pizza is made by a different cook than the rest of the food. OK, so you would think that the food would come out sooner. Then she asked if I wanted to talk with the owner, but it would take longer to get our food because the owner is the person cooking it. You mean the woman who came out to the dining room to talk with two other tables in the time we have been here? She now has no time to talk? Well, I guess we no longer have time for your restaurant. An excuse is not an apology. The hostess is looking for an argument, in my opinion, and shouldn’t be in customer service.
