Order a pizza. I use the New York thin crust created my own toppings of bacon chicken basil pesto for the base feta cheese and roasted red peppers.
I would say it would be a good addition to put some bee sting honey drizzle over the top.
Pizza seems to be made fresh and in-house crust is very light crispy and airy.
I had a really good buttery flavor and chewiness.
The only reason I put atmosphere and service as a 4 star is because you still have to do some self-service. I do like the booths, they were pretty clean.

My favorite pizza in Omaha. Walk in and order at the counter. Let them know if it is takeout. Seat yourself for diner in, after you order. They will bring out your food, plates, silverware when they bring your food. There are menus on the table in front of the cash register and the most popular items overhead. Sometimes the owner is there making the pizzas and those are extra good. Not sure why, they just are. Mostly, I see him at the Elkhorn location. This is definitely fold the slice NY pizza. Highly recommend. Rockbrook location closed Mondays at the time of this review.

Took my son here for a late lunch after errands. I have lived up the road for 6 years and never knew about this place!! I had the antipasta salad and my son and I had a pepperoni pizza. Salad was a great fresh start to the meal. The pickled peppers were awesome. As for the pizza, the crust was crisp and just enough doughy chew in it while is was that perfect pliable texture under the toppings. This reminds me a lot of the pizza you can get in the north east of the country. Also this is EXACTLY how I remember pizza tasting when I was a kid. And I mean that in the best way possible. Love this place and plan to become a regular.

Don Carmelo’s just made it into my top 5 pizza joints in Omaha.
I’m so sad I didn’t try it sooner. I feel like you don’t hear enough about this delicious New York style pizza and that definitely needs to change! Plus they had amazing customer service and a quick turnaround on our order despite it being a busy night for orders for National Pizza Day.
Just added it to our regular rotation.

We are lucky to live near Don Carmelo’s Pizza. We usually get our food to go. The store is small but has a number of comfortable tables. The pizza is good plus they have a number of other good choices. Service is great!

Great, laid back place tucked in Rockbrook. Our pizza was very good! We have a hard time with New York style as most of the time our pizzas come out too greasy but this pizza was super yummy! We will definitely be back 🙂

Our usual haunt was closed on Sunday & ran across 108th&Pacific Don Carmelo’s. Very Cute inside! Got garlic cheese bread, pizza & antipasto salad 2-Go. All was tasty & held up well for the drive. Will have to dine in next time. Thanks *UPDATE* We finally ate in and were not disappointed in the food. They could use more help though. And because of that the pizza was hotter in the take-out than in house. Got our own refills.
