When I used to live uptown I loved this place. There was Boli’s and another spot on the same street but I always shopped with Pizza Mart. The one slice barely fits inside a box and when you get it hot man it used to be a treat. Not the healthiest choice but hey…live a little Snoopy!! LOL Notice the slice in comparison to my arm and I am a big guy 6’2 280 lbs. Visit 18th Street…go…stop looking at me.

I liked Pizza Mart Because the owner was very nice and polite. The food was very hot and tasted AMAZING!!!!!!! I ordered the cheese bread it was enough to feed 2 people. It came with Pizza sauce and a garlic sauce for dipping. The Pizza Mart is confidentially located to other shops in the area. Only downfall we were in a pinch for time and it took a bit longer than I expected. Otherwise it was a win!

All of the people you see behind me are waiting to pick up their order. The man acting as the cashier was telling everyone who came into Pizza Mart that it would only take “10 minutes.” I waited for 30 minutes while the man reached over my head serving pizza to people who ordered after me.
I told him that I couldn’t write a positive review for his restaurant being treated that way and I would tell everyone about my experience here. I even showed him how many views I have as well as the viewer count and he did not care one bit. ♀️ ♀️ ♀️ If that’s how he wants to operate, then all I can do warn people.
Not to mention the pizza tastes terrible now that someone else has taken over. I’ve been eating from here for decades and I can tell that it’s under new management. The sauce is tasteless. It has no real Italian seasoning in the sauce. The dough tastes under cooked and that is most likely due to the fact that there were a lot of customers waiting on food and they rushed the pizza through the oven.
Go to Pizza Bolo’s. Their pizza is much better.

We stopped in here after watching YouTube video of good food stops in Washington dc. Pizza was fresh off the oven after we ordered and it was delicious. We tried the cheese, meatlovers, and margarita pizza. All we would give 5 stars. Places was easy to find, it was warm the day we went inside but seating available outside.

I found out about DC’s original jumbo sized pizza slice after seeing a YouTube video on it so I definitely had to give it a try. The pizza slice is massive and is equivalent to four regular slices of pizza. I ordered the meat lovers pizza which was delicious and shared it with a friend. The pizza was very filling and we were both quite full afterwards.

I decided to eat here because it was featured on tv. Be warned that depending on which side you approach it from theres another pizza mart that looks almost like this. I almost walked into the wrong one but I double checked google maps to be sure and it turns out i was about to walk into the wrong one. The place was empty when I went but people slowly started coming in. The jumbo slice pizza was ready in a few minutes and was huge. The pizza tasted average but it was good. I wasn’t able to finish the whole slice so i took the rest home.

The Pepperoni Jumbo Slice hits!!
Huge slice, crispy crust, and generously topped with pepperoni. After trying other Pizza spots in AdMo, this has become my go-to for late-night cravings—and yes, it’s just as good sober!
