Definitely a locals bar to go and watch the game. Pool tables are available which make for a great place to eat and watch a game. Ordered their pepperoni pizza and it was delicious. Crispy and tasty, it’s one of the best I’ve had. Service is great. Bring your own pool cue stick though if you’re picky about that. Overall, a great place to play pool and have a slice while the game is on.

This is a great bar! Had been in there back when it was Jacks or Better and never really had been back. The day bartender Kat is amazing (along with the others I’ve met) and it really gives off a friendly vibe. Plus I’ve ran into people that I know and haven’t seen for years. And Stacy the cook is whipping up some of the best bar food I’ve ever tasted. I highly recommend it.

This is a fun bar. My mom goes here all the time and is always satisfied they had a cake for her birthday they have karaoke and just so much fun things to do. Not only are the coworkers friendly but so are the people there it’s a great atmosphere and the food is hot and ready.

Just moved here from Long Beach CA i was in search for my spot I am very pleased with Freds Taverns my spot from here on out! Best bar on the north side! Bartenders Cece and Jocelyn are top notch best of the best! Always taking care of you just the perfect way! I cashed out big in this place more than any other spot! Pool tables are dope just a quarter for a game! Food is amazing! Music is dope you play what you want at longest you drop some cash on it!

Wow!!! Just wow!!! Never been to Fred’s Tavern but I live literally down the street. Thought I would give it a try. Rude as hell over the phone trying to place an order for pick up. I was told they don’t take orders over the phone because people never pick up. Well wake up call I WOULD HAVE!!!!!!!! So they assume everyone is a flake!!! First impressions are everything!!!! Never again do NOT go there!!!!!

This is our favorite BAR! The bartenders are great (especially James and Heather) and everyone always makes us feel at home. The prices are very reasonable and the food is good. If you are looking for a neighborhood bar with great service and friendly people, I would defiantly say make this your regular location. Hope to see you there!

A friend and I visited here mid-week, later in the evening to shoot pool. When we entered, we were immediately greeted by a very friendly, female bartender (I believe her name was CeCe). She was attentive and went above and beyond to accommodate our drink order. The place is well lit, spacious and kept very clean. I look forward to visiting again soon.

Very roomy and comfortable, friendly atmosphere and CC is a great lady behind the bar. Fun place to watch football games and great food to go along with them. A birthday party was one of events going on during Monday Night Football. So lots of interesting things and also promotions going on.
