We stopped by to try the buffet. At 2pm, most of the dishes were fresh. The older food had fresher pans already being made. There wasn’t a long line to go in but a few cars in the drive thru. A tv to watch and self serve soft drinks. The fried chicken tasted like churches chicken, the oven roasted chicken was lightly seasoned but good, veggies on the line were good, and the desserts were ok. The only thing I added salt & pepper to was my mash potatoes but there is white & brown gravy for it also. All of the chicken was tender and warm. My wife enjoyed the liver, gizzards, and the beans were good. The employees were friendly and talkative. The store appeared clean, tables were wiped down, and it did look like a old Dairy Queen store. Overall our experience was enjoyable and we would stop by again for a buffet meal.

Hubby wanted to visit this Hartz instead of the one in Bossier. Went on a Sunday it was crowded people were coming in after church, the business is not that big. The food was fresh, hot, & good. The Hartz in Bossier is better with more entrees on the buffet. One of the workers were harassing our kids because they were sitting at a table & were done eating although the adults in our party were still eating. She was rushing us out & we had a problem. Our party paid just like everyone else. Will not return to this one will drive the extra miles to Bossier to get better food, as well as customer service.

There is nothing better on a Sunday afternoon than Hartz Chicken! The dining room was very clean, and the food was delicious The buffet was always replenished in a timely fashion;which is very important, lol This is definitely a place to go when in need of a home cooked meal. Let Hartz do the cooking for you!

This place is Ok!
It is not and will not be my first stop, Ever!
I had a couple of flies trying to eat with me, and all, and I do mean all the tables were nasty, but he did come to clean them off when we asked. So I do give thumbs up to customer service.
On the other hand, they need someone else to cook! the food was not good. the only thing I liked was the fish and Tenders. Even though they were cold. He told me that the meat was
cold because the lamps were out. So I waited till a new batch came out and they were also cold.
I wanted so bad to like the place but it does not live up to a “good food” restaurant.
Just to put it simply…there is a Popeyes across the street.
Not saying I won’t go back, I’m just going to give it some time to catch up to the flavor train. Then I will go back and re-review.
Those MEATBALLS ARE NASTY! THAT IS NOT HAMBURGER MEAT! Did you guys see the livers? HOW BLACK THEY WERE! I WON’T BE EATING THOSE! The MAC AND CHEESE was OK!
This place reminded me of and tasted like Chicken Express, and Chicken Express was better.

IT IS STILL THE SAME! THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IS THE TENDERS WERE HOT.
THE PLACE WAS ONLY FULL OF WORKERS. ITS IS JUST NOT GOOD!
IT WAS A WAIST.
My mom and dad told me they went and the chicken was so good. I said ok maybe they read reviews and fixed things. HELL NAW!
It’s good for old people (soft food) and kids. And workers who need to eat.
Like I said before, Popeyes is cross the street and Southern Classic is up the street. This was the last time I will visit this place.
I CAN’T BELIEVE I WANTED TO REVIEW THIS PLACE instead of eating Chinese!

This was my first time trying Hartz and to me it’s just ok. Imagine gas station food as a buffet. There were a few highlights. The chicken tenders were fresh and cooked well. Having gravy to dip them in, is an added bonus and you get your choice of white or brown. Potatoes were served 5 ways mashed, fried, cubed, scalloped & as salad. My vegetable of choice was greens coupled with a corn muffin.
The real highlight was the bread pudding I tried at the end was really the only thing that made my taste buds dance.
The people are very friendly but this is what looks to be an old Dairy Queen building and the vibes are about the same.
With a price tag of $16.20 I probably won’t be back.

This is their fourth day open. I stopped in for the buffet. They have chicken, chicken livers, chicken hearts, chicken strips, fried fish, dumplings, and a variety of sides. I tried a little of everything.
The buffet was reasonably priced at $12.98 a person. Kids and seniors was cheaper. Drinks included in the buffet.

ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!!! Chicken was fresh and fried to perfection. Not to mention well seasoned. And the fries were hot fresh and also fried to perfection. Not one soggy one! The lemonade was also truly fresh and mouth watering.
Would I recommend them.. YES!!!!!!! You are truly missing some if you don’t visit them once.
Definitely a 10/10

We pulled up and ordered in the drive thru. I then got out to use the restroom. I walked in and said hello, may I use your restroom. One female points to the back. No one said anything. I was like, okay. We did not receive what we asked for and the drive thru female had an attitude. I will NEVER stop here again. Don’t recommend it.
