Wow I have been to many different Highway 55 Restaurants and by far this is the absolute best! My cheesesteak Was moist, cheesy and delicious. My husband got the Andys burger and he loved it. The waitress was kind and checked on us. I will definitely be back again.

On this little road in this little tiny town we found a HWY 55 with excellent food and the staff was just as great. The place was spotless. And even though it was slow while we were in there the staff didnt just stand around and run down the clock. They all kept busy.

Yeah amazing customer service. We were out of towners and stopped for a good burger and ended up tasting all the sauces and buying even more food that we thought we were going to buy. They have amazing Philly cheese steak subs and they even let us fill up our ice cooler for the road. All I can say is this is a great place for food and good vibes. My wife also absolutely love the experience and wanted to buy one of their hats.

Hwy 55 Burgers and shakes was a very fun relaxing experience, your put in the setting of a 50’s diner with a series of interesting photos and signs all over the walls. The food as expected was a little cheap but we’ll prepared and cooked, they had a variety of fun shakes, burgers, shrimp, and even a stake platter. They have the best onion rings I’ve ever had in my life, if anything I highly recommend the onion rings. My only complaints are as follows; the restaurant appeared a bit dirty, the bathrooms we’re gross, and I hated how many mirrors there were in that restaurant, they we’re oddly placed and I felt I was always being stared down. Other than that it’s a friendly place with excellent table service. All around a positive vibe.

The food was as good as any Hwy 55 I’ve been to – very tasty and came out hot. The restaurant itself was dirty and the staff was completely disorganized. There were only 3 tables with guests in the place and 3 different waitresses came to get our drink order. Despite the fact that they were all standing within 3feet of each other they still didn’t get the drink order right – pretty complicated tea and water… the food took at least 20 min to come out – again we were one of three tables in the place and one of them had obviously already been there for a while. What should have been a quick bite to eat on the road wound up taking at least 45 min.

Not my kind of place. I feel like this food is like ten times more fatty and salty than any other food! I never eat here unless someone else is going and I’m riding! I recommend the cheese steak or shrimp burger and i never even get them! I’ve had them years back but I don’t eat here because this delicious food just seems so fattening! Usually a nice younger staff. Pop iconic decor of the malt shop car hop era.

Always friendly service. Very observant of their customers, so much so they learned mine and my fiancee’s names and also how we wanted our orders prepared depending on what it was we ordered. Nice quiet atmosphere. Music is played but not overly loud.

We have been here off and on for years, both dining in and mostly to-go.

It was a to-go order this time, but I went in instead of sitting at the drive-thru window. As is usual, I was greeted as soon as I got in the door and was able to place my order quickly.

My order was an Andy’s Cheeseburger with mayo, ketchup, xx pickles and xx mushrooms, an Andy’s Bacon Cheeseburger with mustard, chili & onions, an order of onion rings and an order of french fries.

It didn’t take terribly long to get my order, even though they were fairly busy.

When I got home and we went to eat, the fries and onion rings were hot and perfectly cooked. The burgers had issues. My bacon cheeseburger was the junior size not the full size as ordered & paid for and my wife’s burger didn’t have the extra pickles (just regular amount) and onions.

We will go again, because this is better than the chain places, but I will watch my order being made a lot closer than I did.

Also, I would like for them to mark the burgers to eliminate order confusion on to-go orders.

Always love this Hwy 55 as I do most of them. This one has very friendly staff and everyone has to wait a few minutes because they cook your food fresh. And fresh, daily made yogurt custard that is better than ice cream. What is surprising is that it is ran by all young adults and they are all professional, polite and very good at their jobs! Recommend this place.

I called in an order and literally sat at the window for 5 minutes before someone came, just to be told my order wasn’t given to the cooks yet. The waitress was very apologetic but unfortunately it wasn’t done, and the sanitation score as of today was 91.5 very low, need to get that up. Sorry for the bad review no hard feelings, but I don’t think I will eat here again.
