Stopped by late on a weekday and was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming the atmosphere was. The gentleman who assisted us offered excellent customer service. Our food arrived quickly and was delicious.

Tried The Tender Spot for the first time and I was really impressed! I got a meal that came with a chicken sandwich, tender with toast, and fries. The prices are great and they have some awesome combo deals. The portions are generous, the #1 combo and the loaded fries could easily be shared between two people. Their lemonade and agua fresca are also super refreshing and delicious.
The only thing was my fries weren’t as crispy as I like, but that’s probably because we took it to go and ate after a short ride home. Next time I’ll definitely eat there to enjoy them fresh. Overall, I’d highly recommend this spot and I’ll definitely be coming back! [email protected]

Everything was delicious down to the sweet potato fries and coleslaw. Would definitely go again. The price is good for portion was able to share the #1 combo. It was enough for two….It’s a must try, you’ll love it!

First time there with my son, both of us loved the food. The staff provided exceptional service, and the chicken was very moist and flavorful.
I had intended to try the super spicy option, but it required signing a gimmick waiver. Who’s to say the second hottest option can’t do the same as the hottest. So I decided not to play that game and chose the 2nd hottest, the inferno level. It wasn’t that hot at all, I’ve had hotter serrano peppers before. Don’t get me wrong, it did make me sweat a bit. The flavor on the strips was delicious with hints cayenne pepper, meat was very juicy, and to top it off the pricing is excellent. Skip overrated Canes, as The Tender Spot offers superior food quality and value. I only gave it a four-star rating due to the perceived gimmickry of the waiver requirement.

Good service but man the food just not there. For Morgan Hills first chicken tender spot they really needed to be on their A game for this. It’s not a bad spot that’s for sure but the food quality definitely lacks. Got the mac and cheese once before and it was just watery and not good. Tenders are decent but definitely could be better.

I loved the atmosphere. The staff was extremely nice. Now I do understand that it just recently opened and that it takes time to establish themselves but I feel like it was not very tender or spicy. When you hear the word tender you think of a chicken tender. Like most Nashville styled chicken you think of hot spicy chicken tenders, this was not that. I was given a breaded chicken cutlet that was light to not seasoned at all. I got the hottest seasoning and was very disappointed when it was not seasoned at all. I compared my meal to what they advertised on the website and it simply was not that. I believe I got the combo number 5, it tasted great but it just was not what it was promoted to be. I do wish to go again because I can tell that this place and get better at their craft because this meal was genuinely good.

I know they are in a soft opening right now so I will do my best to give a soft review. Let’s start with the staff and atmosphere: staff is super nice and knows how to be welcoming. They have music playing and wall drawings that I really liked. I also like that their sign out front glows green. Definitely a head turner.
For the sides: sweet potatoes fries are amazing and taste better with their sauce which is also really good. The yellow Mac and cheese was not flavorful in the slightest which was disappointing.
For the chicken: I got the inferno spice level tender and sandwich. It was in fact not very inferno at all. The spicy seasoning was very lightly dusted only on top of the chicken as opposed to actually tossing it and giving it a good coat. This is odd since this is suppose to be a hot chicken place but there’s no hot? It’s just breaded chicken. Well sort of. The breading falls off so easily when eating it ends up being just plain chicken breast. Lots of room for improvement. Will go back when improvements are made because I see potential.

We went for the soft launch and the food and service were fantastic! The amount and quality of the food was great especially for the price. The chicken was moist and the white Mac and cheese was delicious. They only had a limited staff but they still had great service. The food definitely has some kick to it and we’ll definitely be going back again.
