I recently visited David’s Seafood in my home town where Whitney Gave me great customer service for the second time, and I couldn’t be happier with my experience! The seafood was outstanding, with a fantastic variety of fresh options that really showcased the quality of their ingredients. The service was top-notch, making My native low country boilexperience enjoyable. As a local resident, I highly recommend David’s Seafood for anyone looking for a delicious meal. I’ll definitely be returning when I’m back in town to visit.

The food was nasty the place has a dirty smell and they overcharge customers for example one small side of garlic butter thats not even full it had maybe an ounce of garlic butter in it they charge a dollar a piece its ridiculous to penny pinch like that.. I tried once before the same sauce was twice the amount and they were 50 cents each. But the food was not good the crabs seemed old and they barely had any meat in them they had an ammonia taste so I had to throw them away so I gave them another chance and tried the garlic shrimp and they were nasty as well.

I always get seafood from the David’s in Savannah, so when they got one here I was super excited. The excitement soon faded once I returned home with my food. First of all, the garlic crabs, conch, and shrimp tastes nothing like the one in Savannah. The garlic crabs tasted like they were boiled in regular water and then sprinkled with seasoning after taking them out. Very bland and not seasoned at all. The conch were EXTREMELY hard. The shrimp were OK but still tasted nothing like the David’s in Savannah. The garlic butter was a paste, and the hot sauce tasted old. I was very disappointed and won’t be getting David’s in Atlanta anymore only Savannah. I expected the recipes to stay the same and they’re not.

Update: new management and I’ve tried to like them over the last 3 months but NO. The prices are even more inflated, which would be fine if the service and quality were still decent. Service is horrible and quality/taste is barely OKAY (I get the steamed, “garlic” food). I’ll just wait until I go to Savannah to get quality food (def not from David’s)… only reason this isn’t one star review is because I loved the old management/team. Won’t be returning to this place.

Great food and really great customer service (even if there’s a line). If you like seafood, there’s no reason you shouldn’t have tried this place by now. I really wish I could come here everyday but they’re closed on Tuesdays.

The garlic boiled eggs tasted sour. The prices were more expensive than before with the previous owners. I can tell the business exchanged hands. The brand is different. The cold items were not even cool enough and smelled “loud” by the time that I made it home. The shrimp didn’t taste or look firm enough. The conch was more chewy than desired. I don’t plan to revisit as I used to happily do since the quality is less. I’ll have to go to the original one in Savannah when I go home. $65 done the drain.

I saw 4.2 stars and went to the “restaurant” based off of that without actually reading the reviews. First off, the lady at the front was so rude. She didn’t say hardly anything and instead of telling me my food was ready (I was sitting with my back to her while I was waiting) she sets it on the counter and walks off. I asked her was the food hot as in fresh because I saw it was precooked, and she said yes but I get home (exactly 3 minutes away) and realize I basically just paid $40 for leftovers. The “crab rice” is fried rice with two strands of crab meat but at least it was hot as if they had just cooked it. I NEVER leave reviews but I can say I’ve also never paid $40 for leftovers before either so I guess there is a first time for everything. I also saw them putting pounds of shrimp in a storage container (I came in around 8:30pm, they were closing soon) so I’m 1000% sure they were packing it up to resale tomorrow. I forgot to check the restaurant score but I won’t be back so it doesn’t matter. I’m pretty sure DHEC will have a field day with them on their next visit though.

Family and I shared fried shrimp, fried oysters, and garlic snow crabs. The shrimp and oysters were good, but not exceptional. The garlic snow crab was absolutely outstanding. The crab rivals the best I have had and that includes coastal towns. Employees were extremely professional and courteous. We will definitely return.

I’m from Savannah and seen this spot. Well I should have check reviews before I ordered. The fries were not fully cooked. They were out of oysters. So I ordered shrimps. They were not tasty at all. I wished I keept my money.

The food was the worst seafood, I ever eaten and it is overprice. I ordered fried oysters, fried shrimps and order crab fried rice. They gave me 7 oysters, 6 shrimps and crab fried rice with no crab. The rice was old. Then manager was cursing out in the front of everyone. Since they were short staffed, they gave me the bottom of the barrel food. I strongly would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. This is was a waste of money. I’ll never step another foot in there.
