Unfortunately the food here resembles something similar to the cost of living in San Francisco…. Got my wife and I a sandwich here and it cost $45. No worries I figured it would be like a Jersey Mikes experience. Got my sandwich and the fried chicken in it seemed like they rolled off the McDonald’s chicken nuggets assembly line. I was shocked at how distasteful the sandwich was in general. I even added bacon and the few strips I got were so thin and lean it was quite shocking after paying an extra $2.50 cents for it. Staff was friendly though and one of the ladies even walked our sandwiches to us which was nice. So I give the service 5 stars.

My mom was eaving about this place and how awesome their breadcwas and their sandwiches so had to try it. It did not disappoint. There were a ton of different choices which is hard for me because they all looked delicious. I landed on the “100 Things to eat before you die” Menage a Trois. It was tasty. I give it a 4 as I doubt it would be in my top 100 list but this is a great sandwich place. Better than the other usual chain ones. Food was fresh, warm, full of flavor. Establishment was very clean, no line and quick service. I’ll be back.

I was in the area handling business and saw this sandwich shop on google. I’d never heard of them before, so I stopped in. The menu is massive and can be overwhelming. I asked one of the employees what her favorite is and the most popular. She began to tell me about the Beast, I believe. So I decided on that sandwich. The restaurant looked fairly new. It was clean, smelled clean, and the two employees were nice. After a short wait, my sandwich was ready and so was I, because I was starving. My first thoughts on the sandwich when I unwrapped it was, “I know this is going to be good!” My first bite was filled with flavor. The chicken was sooooo good. The sauce was good, and the bread was perfect. My sandwich was pretty big and enough for leftovers. They have a satisfied customer on my end, that’s for sure. They even put candy in your bag with your order! Cool shop that’s expanding, so give them a try. It is a little on the high-end, so bring the bank.

Ike’s Love & Sandwiches in Georgetown is in the back corner of the Wolf Creek Shopping Center. We stopped by on a Tuesday around 2 pm and they were not busy. The manager, Andrea, was very friendly and helped us with the menu since it was our first time. The menu is extensive with many options, and Andrea helped us make a choice based on our likes.
We ordered the #2 Hollywould’s SF Cheesesteak and the #91.5 Ike’s Reuben. There are a variety of toppings that you can add to your sandwich; some are free, and some are an extra charge. We both got lettuce and tomato added which were free. I got the Dutch Crunch bread with my Reuben, and my wife got the French Bread with her Cheesesteak. Both breads were freshly made and excellent, but I loved the Dutch Crunch bread the most. The meats are sliced in store, and the veggies are fresh and crisp. We made our sandwiches into a combo meal for an extra $4.50 which included a bag of kettle chips or a cookie and a 20 oz fountain drink. Each of the meals cost almost $20, which made the lunch total for two people around $40. This is a lot for a sub sandwich, a bag of chips, and a 20 oz drink, especially compared to some of the big national sandwich chains, but the sandwiches here are excellent.
The high cost for lunch will probably keep us from coming back on a regular basis, but we will definitely be back to Ike’s in the near future. Friendly service and great food are reasons to give Ike’s a try. I can’t wait to go back and try some of the other sandwiches!

Hands down my new fave in TX. Wish they had one on the East Coast! So many options, amazing size, staff were superb and gave us recommendations.
Bread was toasted perfectly, hearty portions and sandwiches weren’t soggy.
We ordered: “Meatless Meatball” w/ lettuce, tomato and the famous Dutch bread & “Sometimes I’m a Vegetarian” w/same toppings & bread.
Oh, and make sure to try the orange, turmeric, cardamom drink – it’s yum!
Mos def coming back next time I’m in TEXAS! Thanks guys!

Huge selection of sandwiches. Love the Ikes branding and paintings on the walls. There is a huge selection even for vegetarian folks. The shop is in a corner and can be easily missed. Love their lollipops for kids. I always get one . I am glad that there is one closer to me.

The menu options are incredibly good, particularly for vegetarians or vegans. I had the Jaymeatless, which was really great (and really large). I recommend splitting a sandwich or planning on taking half home. Solid service, clean and comfy shop (though somewhat generic).
