What a lovely quaint diner in the heart of downtown Franklin, Kentucky where Johnny Cash married June Carter! My friend Judge Martha Harrison and I had the lunch special consisting of a HUGE BOWL of Homemade Chicken & Rice Soup with lovely veggies & HUGE CHUNKS OF CHICKEN! YUM! I had the grilled cheese sandwich to accompany the savory soup and our District Judge had a PB&J. We met the Owner/Cook & her husband Plumber All around Maintenance Guy. What a lovely couple. What a Breath of Fresh Air! Tradition at it’s Finest! 🙂

This place is the physical embodiment of peace on earth. From the savoring flavors to the majestic incomprehensible staffs selfless emotional care and responce to a simple order. Their infectious smiles and warm atmosphere flutter throughout the diner like a plague. This hometown-tidy kept diner is by far the most brilliant idea ive ever seen for a local grub spot with their one of a kind genuine hand made mason jar lights fill the silo-like roof like fireflies in the night. This southern cook environment is most definitely a trip to remember. I will be seeing them again. Thank you.
