Stopped into Kleemans Bar in New Glarus and it did not disappoint. Great atmosphere — just the kind of place you wanna hang out in. The bartender was super welcoming, polite, and friendly, which makes all the difference. I had a quick BLT (because… bacon), and it hit the spot. And yes — they have a pool table! Love it. Definitely a solid little bar if you’re in the area. I’ll be back!

We dropped in for an appetizer and beer before leaving New Glarus to return home. The atmosphere of the place was nice: warm and friendly. The bar tender was very attentive. We had Spotted Cows and fries which were good. The outside dining area was a comfortable place to relax.

Place is friendly enough, but it’s just your average bar with drinks from any grocery store. The food is meh, like your friend’s son in college had some frozen food and was able to microwave or grill it. I would go to hang out with friends. I would definitely not eat here. It’s a one man shop really, bartender serves drinks and makes the food in the back corner. What you see is what you get.

We stopped in for a late lunch and was not disappointed! The service was great, and the general manager also gave us information about the local food we were eating. The cheese curds were the best we have ever had. We will definitely return.
