The food here is always great. The Massimo sticks are definitely one of our favorites along with lasagna and the ravioli. The house dressing for the salad is also great! We have been ordering food here for years and have never had a bad experience.

My wife and I had to travel to Effingham for an appointment. It was a long drive from home. We enjoy finding new places to eat so we are always on the lookout. We looked for a place in Salem to get some pizza and found this place on Google Maps. It had a rating of 4.2 so we gave it a try. This restaurant is nothing fancy but it is a clean and pleasant place. I often judge the cleanliness of a restaurant by the condition of the bathroom. This place is kept VERY clean. The server we encountered was a very sweet and competent young lady. We ordered a thin crust all meat pizza. I have been saving the best part of this review for last. The pizza was honestly one of the best pizzas I have ever had. I was very impressed and I will be coming back when I am in the area. I cannot wait to try some of the other varieties. The restaurant is not a far drive from the interstate and if you are reading this while traveling you will not regret a short detour off I-57 to get some pizza you will not forget. Thanks for the great pizza and fine service!

This restaurant never disappoints. It’s been many years since I’ve been here but called ahead while traveling through the area and our pizza was ready and on the table within 5 minutes of setting down. We had limited time and this made it quite convenient for us. The pizza is amazing, small town little pizzeria worth the visit. They have a nice menu of Italian pasta as well. We will definitely be stopping back again. Highly recommended.

Don’t let the appearance of the restaurant deter you. This is my families favorite place for pizza. We have several if the other menu items as well, everything has tasted delicious. Big fan of the little garlic bread rolls that come with some meals too!
