As my wife said, this was another level in amazing food, ambience and service. From the appetizers, wine cocktails, mains to desserts, Federico was an amazing choice for our dinner in Lisbon. Leonardo, our server, was excellent with his recommendations. No more words needed to describe our wonderful experience here and we’ll let the photos of our dinner speak for itself.

We walked in debating whether to come back for dinner or stay for the business lunch. In the end, we stayed,and I’m glad we did. The lunch menu is definitely good value.
The starters, however, were disappointing. The flavors just didn’t come together, neither in their melon soup nor in the quail eggs dish.
For mains, we ordered the burger and the sirloin steak. The steak was good, although a bit small, which is understandable for a business lunch. The burger was tasty, but it came out well-done instead of medium as requested, and the bun wasn’t fresh. The fries were flavorful, though about half of them were dry.
Overall, it was an okay experience. At this price point, it felt reasonable, but if it had been more expensive, I would have left disappointed.

This place is a wonderful surprise. Really beautiful restaurant with a great vibe. But the food.. that was the masterpiece for me. Anything with robalo in it was 10/10: both starter and main. The deconstructed pastel de nata was also very tasty and a fun twist to a classic. The service was a bit too slow and it took longer than it should’ve to get our server’s attention throughout the meal, albeit everyone was kind and friendly.

My husband and I celebrated his 40th birthday at Federico and loved every moment. We even came back 2 nights later for our last meal in Lisbon bc we enjoyed it so much! The dining room is charming with beautiful high ceilings and scattered chandeliers that remind you of a starry night. We had delicious cocktails, wine, and food. Our favorites were the prawn cappuccino, the croquettes, sea bass, and beef terrine. The tropical passion fruit dessert was a delight!! While the entire service and staff were wonderful, the sommelier, Bruna (spelling?), was the shining star. She was knowledgeable and so gracious both evenings. Highly recommend Federico to anyone for a romantic evening or a special family dinner. We will enjoy going back the next time we are in Lisbon!

What a find! A stunning venue, with gorgeous design and loads of Portuguese ceramics and decorative items. We had a fantastic dinner, from start to finish. For starters we shared the crispy oxtail croquetes and seabass carpaccio, I then opted for a mushroom and truffle risotto which quite simply delicious. For dessert, the crème brûlée is the REAL thing…but all the other desserts looked amazing. Great and varied wine list and friendly, efficient service. Really recommend this restaurant.

This place is not cheap, obviously. It is absolutely gorgeous, as an architectural piece and as a beautiful interior design set. The service is polished and friendly. The food was amazing. The wine selection (and staff’s knowledge about it) was great. I can certainly attest to my steak with foe gras. It was spectacular.
If you want to impress your date or your partner, go there. If you want to celebrate something special, go there. If you just want to have great food in a beautiful setting, go there.

We had the absolute pleasure of having lunch in Federico last Friday. Firstly, we were looked after by Daniel, who was helpful, polite, and very friendly. Then there is the restaurant itself. A beautifully presented room that has been wonderfully decorated. All that aside the star of the show is the food. Fabulous presentation with tastes and textures that excite your palette. The price point of this food is way below where it belongs, so it is therefore great value. It was a pity it was the last day of my holiday or I would have returned again and again. You should definitely visit and treat yourself. I will be back soon.
