Stumbled upon G’Bobs Mediterranean Grill at the Way South Food Park. On Wednesdays for just $20, you get the Platter for Two.
The beef and chicken kebabs were juicy and tender, the gyro meat packed with flavor, and the falafel was crispy perfection. It comes with fluffy rice pilaf, a fresh green salad drizzled in that zesty lemon mint dressing (so good), and an all-star cast of sauces: garlic dip, tahini, tzatziki, and their signature spicy green sauce.
Perfect for a budget-friendly date night or splitting with a friend.

Definitely one of the better Mediterranean places in all of Austin. Ive tried a lot and this place is good!! We went here before about a year ago and thought it was good but went recently and were pretty blown away. Idk what they did differently but I will definitely be going back!!

One of my favourite food trucks. Fresh Mediterranean food, huge portions. Gyro plate, chicken kebab plate, and falafel are top notch. Make sure to try all of his sauces, and do not leave without ordering the baklava!
Owner of the truck is super nice and an amazing chef. He’s also a real pleasure to chat with.

This is the best Mediterranean food truck in Austin! We got the falafel plate and the G Bob’s platter that included a taste of everything – chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, Gyro, and falafel on a bed of rice. Everything was authentic, fresh, and so tasty!

G Bobs is a SPOT
Haven’t had Mediterranean in a while, and this place didn’t disappoint! We had the chicken kebab plate (the salad and dressing is legit), the beef gyro (homemade tzatziki is tasty) and fries.
Service was awesome, and food was even better.
This place is going to be our new go-to.

The best Mediterranean food so far I have ever had in Austin area. Juicy kabobs, rich-favored gyros and satisfying potions. The rice was also amazed me way way beyond my expectations.
Must try.

Delicious Mediterranean food! I ordered the Chicken Kebab Plate and Baklava. So much food! Next time I will definitely order some hummus to go with all this pita! I combined the two sauces to use for the salad and it was so good!! Everything was very fresh. We need more variety of delicious food like this over in this area so make sure you go visit!!

Excellent fresh, handmade food, including the salad dressing! Delicious large portions for a reasonable price, so good!
Edit: knocked a start off for bad vibes and crunchy over cooked bread on my gyro wrap. Showed up to pick up my order and he was going on and on talking to a guy about a woman patron who got lost and how 50% of customers just don’t listen to details. I was friendly and complimented his food but he was dismissive. Talking crap about the people who pay your bills is a bad look.

My fiance picked up the food so I’m not sure how the service was. He mentioned that the atmosphere was very family friendly since this food truck is located in the Way South food Park. The food itself was surprisingly delicious. I got the chicken kebab plate and the meat was very juicy and tender with a good amount of flavor. The rice was unremarkable but not disappointing. The garlic sauce tasted literally like minced garlic and salt, not a fan of that. The green sauce/chutney was my favorite part of the whole dish. I also got a side of hummus which was a bit bland. A pinch of salt at home helped it taste better. I was also give 2 pita wraps still in the bag not sure why they were in the bag still but it went great with the hummus when the pita is warm.
