It was my first time trying this place, and I went in without high expectations. I originally planned to go to El Pulgarcito, but since that restaurant always has a long wait, I decided to come here instead. I’m glad I did—I was not disappointed!

The vibe was great, and I loved seeing both the American and Salvadoran flags displayed on top of the restaurant. The building itself looks like a house, which gives it a unique feel, and inside they have Salvadoran decorations on the walls that make it warm and welcoming.

The service was friendly, the food was delicious, and the pupusas were definitely the highlight. I’ll definitely be coming back—this has become my new go-to spot for pupusas!

I was craving papusas so I stopped by for the first time. I got my order to-go and sat down in my office to eat my lunch.. All i can say is wow. The chicharron y queso was like biting into heaven, the orange hot sauce and slaw on top was like a warm hug from my abuela. I will be coming here regularly.

I recently tried this restaurant for breakfast with my family. The menu is in Spanish with a one or two word description in English after each listing. This made it a little difficult to choose, but the waitress was really helpful.
I ordered the stuffed bread. I was really surprised at how good it was. I didn’t expect to like all the ingredients listed, but I loved it. I noticed there was crumbled white cheese in the dish and when I asked about it she said they make it in the back. This is a perfect way to explain the flavors. Everything was fresh and blended together well. They had a freshly made green salsa that my wife and I both loved.
My wife and daughter shared a dish. They substituted french fries for beans at my daughter’s request. My daughter didn’t like the fried plantains but I thought they were good.
They also have a small party room and even an upper level that can be reserved for private events.
All in all, I would say this is a good restaurant with an authentic menu that you should try.

First of all, the server was a bit overwhelmed. He was doing a great job. The food was another story. Thr papusas were nice and hot. The relish was also tasty and spicy. The tamale was mushy and had a sliver of pork. The pastilitos was the best item. My only real criticism was the level of salt. Everything was way too salty. I was excited to try a new spot, but probably won’t return.

We were craving food similar to Nicaraguan cuisine. We came here to try carne asada and papusas. They were delicious. Order a couple extra tortillas, they are delicious. These are thicker than you might think and served warm and soft.

The Papusa is an authentic El Salvadoran dish. They come in various fillings inside a pan fried flour based wrapper. Absolutely delicious!! The cabbage side salad and homemade salsa are refreshing and paired perfectly with the papusas. My favorite flavors were pork, queso, and loroco. The taco was very flavorful. Fried yucca is richer than French fries. The horchata drink is a must try. It gives you a cooling milky energy punch. The interior building was very clean and has plenty of tables for dine in. We will return for other menu items.

Was in the area and stopped by here for the first time. Wow! Everything was delicious! We got the Beef Soup for my wife, and she said it was the best she’s had yet. And I ordered the carne asada with shrimp plate, and saying it was fantastic would be an understatement! I could eat the shrimp in particular for every meal, and never tire of it Our waitress was really helpful and friendly as well. Definitely hoping to come back here again soon!
