We ordered the $23 “bowl” to-go thinking after reading the description it would be flavorful and hearty and were so incredibly disappointed to have a cold to go of not even fully cooked veggies and no flavor, at all. I don’t consider myself a picky person at all and found this inedible unfortunately. Gave the other star bc their pastries are so good for being allergen friendly and the staff and atmosphere is always nice.

The food here is always good. The drinks are fantastic, especially the Elvis smoothie!

Overall, I’ve always enjoyed going here – the food is very healthy and they use really high quality ingredients. At the same time, though, I need to mentally prepare in advance for the various up-charges and very expensive menu. $13 for a small berry tart? You bet. But it’s good!

They used to have this healthy bowl thing that they got rid of – not sure why as it seemed popular.

I am not sure if this is a recent thing, but they’ve been asking for reservations when you walk up – and it doesn’t really feel like a reservation kind of place. The front is a more casual cafe / walk up and order type of set up.

This place definitely has the classic but often unfortunate tradeoff of eating ethically sourced and healthy food: high price. Which always makes me wonder.

Recommend coming for a coffee / tea and quick snack but be cognizant of price.

Literally the best food ever—whether you have dietary restrictions or not (I personally don’t) this spot HITS it out of the park. I came in today for a birthday treat after spying some new treats on their Insta and I was not disappointed. Andrea the owner is SO DARN NICE and it just makes it even better when I know that I’m getting some amazing food from a shop that is owned by a wonderful person who truly cares about not just the food but the experience and care she puts into it! pro tip try the almond butter chocolate muffin—literally can’t have any other muffins again after trying this last year!

An absolute treat! The menu is fully vegan. I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. There is a nook in the rear of the venue for additional seating. I found it to be a hip place with kind service and great food. I had a hard time deciding on what to order! Everything looked great. Will definitely go again.

This is such a nice cozy little restaurant with really good atmosphere and food. I ordered online for pick up and was greeted by a friendly employee at the counter. I ended up ordering the Organic Roasted Sweet Potato & Quinoa Kale Salad which was really delicious!

They weren’t kidding when they noted that it could feed 2 people. I ended up saving the 2nd half of it for dinner tonight. The ingredients all seemed to be fresh and of good quality. The flavors blended together really well to make a delicious meal. 100% worth the money!

I walked into PS&Co hoping for a gluten-free peanut butter and jelly sandwich, even though it wasn’t listed on the menu. The staff immediately jumped at the opportunity to make it happen for me. Not only did they accommodate my request, but they made the best peanut butter and jelly sandwich I’ve ever had — on the freshest, most delicious bread. The customer service was truly exceptional; everyone was so kind, welcoming, and eager to help. I left feeling incredibly impressed and grateful. I can’t wait to come back!

P.S. & Co. is the closest thing Philly has to a whole foods/plant-based restaurant, and it’s pretty great! Their menu is entirely organic and gluten free. They also describe themselves as “plant-rich,” a term new to me but that seems to mean food that glorifies the plant rather than focusing on fake meats or other highly processed foods. As someone who tries to follow the whole foods/plant-based diet, my only real criticism of the menu is the heavy reliance on vegan butter and other forms of coconut oil and coconut cream in the desserts and breakfast items. That being said, they do have some baked goods that contain only extra virgin olive oil, such as the black bean brownie and the banana bread. The brownie was fudgey and delicious; I wouldn’t have suspected that it contained beans nor that it was gluten free. The iconic banana bread was also outstanding. I wish they would add an olive oil-based scone!

Their social media focuses primarily on their bakery/pastry items, but the restaurant menu is not to be overlooked. I loved the amaranth pudding. $18 sounds like a lot for a bowl of porridge, but it ultimately felt worth it for such high-quality and clean ingredients, the fantastic taste, and the lovely presentation. The sides of tofu scramble and stewed chickpeas were also delicious and hearty and rounded out my brunch. Next time, I definitely want to delve more into the savory items, many of which are inspired by the owner Andrea’s Burmese heritage.

I had such a great experience at P.S. & Co. that I cannot believe I waited so long to try it. I think I may have mistakenly thought it was primarily a juice/smoothie bar or cake shop rather than recognizing it as the adorable, fully organic, health-conscious restaurant that it is. Truly a gem!

After coming here last time we were in Philadelphia I was surprised to see some negative reviews as we had always had great meals here. No it’s not inexpensive but we every meal we’ve had here was well worth it. And let me tell you about the mushroom soup, it was a special but man oh man oh man, this is the best mushroom soup I have ever had, I also had some bread with it on another occasion and the bread, my goodness was it delicious.
And on top of that we’ve had absolutely wonderful service, sweet and attentive. We also had the meatball sandwich, and the rice bowl, both were large and filling and good. But dang that mushroom soup… it almost made me forget about the incredible desserts!

very nice waitress & staff.

be careful what you order: some items better than others if you are not used to vegan.

kale salad was excellent *****

didn’t like the romaine salad and no switching dressings= truth we were warned it was salt free

dill grilled cheese
bread excellent
cashew cheese: nothing like cheese. one person liked it one scraped it off

didn’t like the fake scrambled eggs but the bagel tasted fine

baked goods were all very tasty; loved the maple gingerbread cookie

the point of the restaurant is to be healthy and extra good for people with autoimmune disease.

everything in the whole place is gluten and dairy free.

unfortunately one of our party had nut allergies so there was very little to eat for her.

This place is super cute and the food is delicious! It’s not just for the vegan gluten free queens out there, it’s for anyone who likes food! Make a reservation to ensure you get a spot but if you don’t that’s okay, you just might have to wait a bit.
Only reason I gave 4 stars is because the price, in my opinion, is quite unreasonable. Good food should be accessible and while sometimes I get you have to charge more, they do over do it a little.
