Five stars for Shonda, the bartender at Spar Pole Bar & Grill in Sumner. She was attentive and made sure I had everything I needed, but she wasn’t overbearing. She’d check in every so often to see how things were going, or if she noticed something on my face that didn’t look right, she’d ask if everything was okay. She really made the experience great. The atmosphere here is awesome and the prices are just right.

The place has really nice servers. The food was good. Didn’t expect anything great from bar food. Although the salad looked a lot meaner than the burger! Drinks weren’t bad but they weren’t great either. I think it seemed like one of the only places to go in Orting on a Friday night because the crowd it started drawing in was so varied. Karaoke on a Friday was fun. Didn’t know if I’d find a reason to come back unless I lived here other than the nice staff.

The regular staff make this neighborhood bar a solid 5 stars. The food is horrifically bland, the whisky pours are large and the fries never ever disappoint. And my pocket book is never abused. What more do you want from the only late night establishment in town?

Best daytime hole in the wall bar in the county. Bartenders are always there for you and make Great cocktails. Food is traditional but like anywhere else is grossly overpriced. Not thier fault.
