Located in Norwalk, Hometown Deli is your go-to neighborhood deli for breakfast, lunch, and a late afternoon bite. Formally Marinello’s Deli, Dave Kuban, owner of Planet Pizza, and his brother in law, took it over to provide loyal customers the hometown deli experience they love. This new spot will include some favorites from the old menu as well as exciting new additions like online ordering, delivery, and specials under $5 for students. The mission of Hometown ? Give you that intimate, neighborhood feel while providing the highest quality ingredients. With all Boar’s head ingredients and bread coming daily from Terranova Bakery in the Bronx, you’re sure to be craving a daily sub.

Its probably a language issue, or intellectual issue or maybe a mix of both, but I ordered a BBQ sandwich which contains cheese, chicken, and barbeque through door dash
I specifically asked for no pickles, or peppers, or mayo just as a precaution because I am allergic to all three in ingredient’s
They specifically sent me a sandwich that has chicken, pickles, mayo and pepper. It was kind of funny
There is no such sandwich on the menu so that only means it was completely done out of spite.
if they have the capacity to do this so blatantly through a door dash order, who knows what kind of health hazard this deli is?
I couldn’t go back to the store since they closed at 3, but I got a complete refund on doordash, the dogs ate, and I got new food . I’m happy
Regardless, I will be continuing this issue.

Great prices and even better sandwiches! I got a roast beef wrap – the best I’ve ever had. The meat was very flavorful and juicy. I can’t wait to try everything! Best deli around!

I’m giving two stars because there was fresh mozzarella basil and a bread was great. I ordered for my first time today at 1030am. I ordered a hometown sub. I asked for no balsamic easy enough . Well it has balsamic . I asked for it to be heated in oven … also not heated but not a deal breaker . Day old refried chicken comparable jerky is tho.

Came here because someone recommended it. Great energy but unfortunately the food did not meet my expectations. Especially when i got home and saw my sandwich covered in pickles when nowhere on the sandwich description was pickles mentioned and i even added stuff to my sandwich & saw them write the order down correctly. I cannot eat pickles and once i got home and opened my sandwich the pickle juice of it seeped into the bread and chicken, every bite you tasted the pickles, couldnt get through it at all. staff was very friendly and i did tell them it was my first time and i will be letting them know about my experience so here it is.

As a party planner, I recently had the pleasure of working with Dave and his amazing team for a Bar Mitzvah. They were absolutely fantastic! Dave customizes his menu to fit each event’s unique needs, and his talented crew creates food that’s delicious, fun, and affordable.
Marc manages the food truck side of things, and both he and Dave are wonderful to work with fun, friendly, and flexible. They served up a mouthwatering taco bar, tasty appetizers, and the most incredible Zeppoli for dessert!
I highly recommend Hometown Deli for your next event or just to stop by their brick-and-mortar location for a great meal. You won’t be disappointed!

Hometown Deli catered our son’s Bar Mitzvah reception. He wanted a Mexican buffet and they totally delivered. Dave was easy to work with, the food was delicious, the prices were so reasonable, and the service was seamless. We are from California and good Mexican food is hard to come by in these parts but Hometown knocked it out of the park!

I had been here once before and had the chicken caesar wrap that was AMAZING but came back to try more today! I ordered a cheeseburger, another chicken Caesar wrap, a chopped cheese on a roll, and a foot long hot dog. Everything was fantastic, GREAT portions, even better prices!! I could not believe I got everything for under $40. Customer service is amazing; when I went to pick up my order I was immediately greeted warmly and kindly! I highly recommend this place. It will become a new normal spot for me.

Dave & Charlie’s offers up your typical deli choices, but turned up. WAY UP. It’s basically a neighborhood Italian Deli on Steroids. Everything here is big. The flavors, the service, the portions. There is NO WAY you will leave hungry.
The specialty sandwiches are beastly, and need to be consumed. The chicken cutlet sandwiches are amazing. Looking for something different? Try the epic Breakfast Burrito(I think it weighs 3 pounds). Everything is amazing but my favorite is the monster cheesesteak on some bombastic garlic bread bread.
Be sure to check their social media for the daily HOT SPECIALS”. They are open for dine-in, take-out and delivery via all the apps. Their bread comes in fresh every day from the Bronx. From the moment you step in you will feel like part of the family.
