Let’s just say I went Monday night waitress was good food was good. So I though hmmm….. I’ll take the whole family back Wednesday night big mistake. Waitress’s attitude sucked really bad she acted like they didn’t need my money. She couldn’t do the same thing the girl did Monday night but with lots of rudeness she didn’t tell me until after I questioned another waitress who was there Monday night. So my family and I walked out and didn’t even eat dinner there. Please don’t choose this place go to Mona Lisa’s right up the road. Excellent Pizza and Chicken Pie as well as Excellent service she don’t disappoint. I also called the manager at home and her husband was nice but she never returned my call. They will not get any of our families business.

Whitefish and shrimp plate was cooked to excellence,my dad got the liver and onions plate he said it was outstanding. Kids chicken tenders and fries and the lady had country steak plate. Very good place to eat and not over priced,we are anxious to try their breakfast for it seemed to be a good spread from the menu.

I’ve been to The Steele Spoon twice and each time was a pleasant experience. I had the hot dog basket and the club basket. Both times the fries were fresh a long with all the ingredients. The staff is very friendly.Truck friendly with a big gravel parking lot

Giving a 3 star…great food BUT no air conditioning. Maybe a 2 star…it was hot in there. We roasted. Wondered why parking lot was empty….stayed to eat because promised grandsons. Visited on 8/8/19. Food was great but uncomfortable. Don’t know how wait staff survive working there…dedicated girls but can’t be making any tip $$. Get a new sir conditioner and customers will be back. Get take outs.

Many have stated it had an antique decor, I would say more farmhouse. The waitress was very nice, though we had a wait for silverware. It was after church on Sunday and there wasn’t that many people. My husband ordered smoked pork chops and pinto beans. Both were really dry. His mashed potatoes he described as “nothing to write home about.” I had fried chicken with milk gravy, collards and fried okra. The okra came after my entree was served. The chicken was a flat breaded patty and had gristle. The gravy was excellent as were the collards. The okra was greasy. Cornbread was good. The salad bar looked like my great grandma made it (only iceberg), but she’d spin in her grave if she saw the fake bacon bits. All in all we ate half our meal and won’t go back again. Wasn’t the worst, but by far not the best.

Too pricey for the small taco salad. Waitress service below average after meal was served. Not competing price wise with many other items on the menu. The price of bottled beer was good but they didn’t have at least one brand of non-alcoholic beer.

This little place has become my favorite go too, for a quick meal.
I personally love to stop in and get a one trip salad bar. The price is fair, the salad bar isn’t big but the service is good. I like that I can go in and grab my food while the waitress grabs my drink, so there’s no waiting on food.
I have tried their chicken tenders before and wasn’t impressed with those but I am picky. I prefer real chicken to the fake chicken thats breaded and more like a chicken nugget. Its’s rubbery and not good.
With that said though, chicken tenders and salad is all I’ve tried, so I can’t speak for the rest of the food.
The staff is very friendly and nice. My only suggestion to the owner if they read this, is to add more to your salad bar. 🙂

Ordered pancakes. Syrup seems a but weak and batter a bit old. Husband ordered philly omelet with hash brown and toast. He was happy with it. Service is good. I would like to come back and try lunch or dinner. Menu has a big selection.

Only four plates served out of a would’ve been service for seven people. Waitress informed us that the food we had ordered an hour ago wasn’t available and gave another option but also that wasn’t available. We know it wasn’t her fault but it would’ve been nice to know an hour earlier so we wouldn’t have had to wait so long with no food. The meals that were served were nothing to brag about. I do feel sorry for the waitresses that day because clearly we were not the only ones upset about our service.
