Probably the third time I’ve been to this location. Shame on me for expecting improvement after a couple of visits. Even if you bundle a food item and a smoothie your total will approach $20. Keeping this in mind, you’re getting portion sizes that don’t justify the price. Our salad had wilted lettuce, sparse toppings, and a tiny bit of dressing. I imagine the line inside the bowl was the fill line. There was at least an inch of space before hitting it. So $20 for just a smoothie and a tiny salad, and I’m asked to tip? No thanks, especially if the staff just give you side eye as you walk in and don’t acknowledge you as you enter. My husband and I were still hungry and ordered a couple more smoothies to take the edge off. They were great, but again, two smoothies for $20 seems steep. I can get fresh smoothies with pressed juice from local chains for that price. The employees behind the line looked miserable and seemed irritated they had to work. The ones sitting down waiting for their ride didn’t look the least concerned as the ones working were getting a rush. Please consider a break area so it doesn’t look like employees who are off the clock are just leaving their teammates hanging during a rush. I asked a female employee for a fork so we could actually eat our salad but she made a point to gesture me over to her teammate before she realized I made a very simple request and gave me one. To summarize, I understand fresh foods can cost, but they are charged at a markup to profit. I’d feel better if I got the value I expected for the price point, but the skimpy salad and the attitude that came with it was no good. Keep up the great work on the smoothies, they were delicious, just expensive knowing any added juices were from concentrate. As far as service, I don’t understand why people would repeatedly overpay to be treated as if they didn’t matter or as if they’re a nuisance. I’ve been behind the line as a manager – my food quality, sanitary practices, value, and most importantly my customer’s experience is always a priority. Consider these points and perhaps take a hint from this and other reviews and make improvements.

I ordered about 4 drinks and a PB flatbread on Sunday and wow was I unsatisfied! I come to this cafe about 3-4 x a week because I love there smoothies. But on this day I don’t know what happened. 2 of my smoothies had no taste and mine which was the banana chia boost Smooth was couldn’t drink it. It was tasteless and not blended well. The lean machine was so watered down and also unflavored my daughter couldn’t drink it. The flatbread was so cold we threw that away too.. We couldn’t go back right that second because we were on our way to church. But we did go after church and still waited about 45 minutes at the drive thru because the lobby was closed and at the end they said they couldn’t do anything about it. I was so upset especially as many times as I go there. I’ve spent about 30$ there that more than half went to the garbage. I haven’t gone back and won’t go back either .

This has become one of my favorite places to grab a smoothie and lunch. Service has gotten better! I usually get the detox smoothie cuz it’s the healthiest one. I have the app and always scan my receipt. I do have some questions on the discounts and hopefully someone can reach out to me on that but other than that this is my place to go to before or after workout.

Food was great and the smoothies were wonderful! (Got a Turkey Bacon sandwich, a Mocha Madness smoothie, and a Peanut Paradise smoothie)
I came to try this place out today and the staff member, Willow, was very patient and willing to explain/show whatever we had questions about.
She was also very friendly and all the staff seemed relaxed and comfortable in their workplace.
The sandwich was very good and the smoothies were quite large so they were worth their price.
I will definitely be coming back here in the future ^o^

Tropical smoothie is one of my favorite places. I always have a great experience at other locations. Stopped at this location on my way through Waco. Smoothie was fine. Employees and atmosphere has a very unwelcoming vibe.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. The portion size compared to the price is silly and honestly unethical. The workers are incompetent. My daughter wanted Mamaka but it’s Sunday & they are closed. I was excited to try here as an alternate option and was wildly disappointed. I got a refund for the acai bowl because it was not worth $12, but I wish I got a refund for my other bowl as well. The base wasn’t good and the fruit was hard. This was super disappointing and a waste of money. I never leave reviews, but this place is so awful I felt the need to.

4 smoothies took 30minutes to get. 2 of them were incorrect and didn’t get what they were supposed to have in them and the lady who made them wouldn’t replace than and said they were right. No urgency no apology nothing.
