We go to Red Fox restaurant frequently, usually by boat, and never during super busy days/times. They are one of the only restaurants at this part of the lake area that stay open every day for most of the year (I think they may close for a couple of months in the winter). We’ve always had prompt, respectful service and the food is fresh and good. My husband likes the daily specials, particularly the fried chicken meal on Sundays (fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green beans, and a roll). I have enjoyed all the different menu items I have gotten. I recommend the Cajun Chicken Salad and the raspberry margarita (though it is a little pricey…$14 for a medium). It’s not a fancy place but it’s always got customers. It feels kind of like a “Cheers” sort of place with a lot of regulars.

This place is TERRIBLE. Iam not one to be critical and have been to many “dive bars”, but this is is just bad. We ordered food and the server took offense when we requested silverware to eat with. My wife asked what bottled beer they had and he replied “bottled beer”. The food was not any better. My son ordered the catfish sandwich which was supposed to come with lettuce and tomatoes. It came out with a piece of catfish on a roll with nothing else. We asked for the lettuce and the tomato and the guy was like you should have asked for that when ordering. Then the server started to raise his voice about how he mis-ordered and it was my son’s fault. This place is gross. Stay away. Please.

The server was absolutely rude and the food was absolutely terrible. Do NOT come here!! You have to request silverware and simple condiments that are listed in the menu with the dish! Very aggressive, unclean, and rude atmosphere. Most definitely not family friendly also!

Wow! Such good food for the money, a fat, meaty burger, and a chicken sandwich that actually had full breasts! The loaded waffle fries could feed 2, if not 4, and I mean loaded. And the regular potato fries? Probably my favorite part actually. Crispy and golden, but melt in your mouth on the inside. Tasty oil like McDonald’s fries, but actually better, like fried in long johns fish batter, I mean just really good
