Love this restaurant. When my friend asked to have lunch at this place and I looked at the dishes photo in yelp, I kind of skeptical as I just feel may be this is same as the recent trending fusion Asian western fusion. We arrived at noon and get seated right away. The restaurant interior like regular restaurant with minimal decoration. The menu is massive. Since we are 6 people we ordered couples dishes and they are all so yummy. Food were ready pretty quickly. The short rib birria is yummy and the short rib meat fell from the bone. The birria is unique with carrot, cheese, potato. This dishes is huge and it can serve up to 3 people.
The lachon dry ramen is yummy. The shaking beef is so tender and the soft shell crab with lettuce wrap is also yummy. The drink is also refreshing. Definitely will visit again to try other dishes. They also do catering. Price is reasonable.

If you’re hungry, do not come to this restaurant. The food is mediocre, and the wait time is ridiculously long. We waited half an hour for a bowl of pho. We ordered the mango coconut sago at the same time as the main course. We finished the main course, and then waited another twenty minutes for the dessert. We asked the waiter in between, and the first one didn’t even bother to check, just saying it was “being made.” We had to ask a second time, and only then did they actually start preparing it. Also, the food is not cheap, and the portions are very small.

The place offers an expansive fusion menu with many options to choose from, but unfortunately does not do one thing exceptionally well.

The birria tacos were underwhelming, and I found a hair in my dish. The fries had a relatively flavorless seasoning that was salvaged by the dip they provided. If you get fries, make sure to get extra dipping sauce.

With everything being said, the place was more so an experience than a place I would want to frequent (or return to) for the taste or meal quality. If you have this place saved on your list, give it a shot and form your own opinions, but do not expect to be blown away.

The little cookie they give you on top of the coffee drink is a nice touch. Could have had the Bo ne come out hotter/more charred. Came here because of TikTok, overall a great place for brunch and other snacks

Shared a few dishes. The food was good overall. My husband and cousin rated it a solid 10/10. I’d definitely come back and try a different dish next time.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the South Bay.

I’ve tried most of their brunch options, rice plates, ramen, and chicken sandwich. I have never been disappointed yet.

Of course, I have my favorites. My go-to is splitting the Short Ribs Bo Kho Platter with someone. The platter comes with enough short rib bo kho for 2 very hungry people. There’s plenty of seasoned tortillas and toasted baguette and comes with a full piece of bone marrow. The platter also comes with a heap of chimichurri, pickled onions, and jalapenos. When we’re feeling less hungry, we usually grab the Taiwanese Chicken Sandwich or Soy Garlic Chicken Sticky Rice plates. My favorite drink has to be the AvoCoco which is an avocado smoothie with coconut and sago. It’s quite refreshing after a heavy meal.

The restaurant is quite cute and has modern, Instagram worthy decor. Ordering and payment can be done with QR code but the staff is very friendly and will help guests who don’t want to use the mobile order system. The staff are super attentive too. They check up on us multiple times to make sure we’re enjoying our food.

Parking can be a little tough during lunch and dinner hours but if you don’t mind walking, there’s plenty of street parking across the street.

Update:
We came here just the 2 of us last time, when my daughter came home from NY, we decided to take the kids here for them to try since this restaurant seems to cater to younger customers.
We actually came here twice since my daughter and son seemed to like it.
Anyhow, the restaurant doesn’t have any blinds to block the afternoon sun glaring in our faces, which is bad for early dinner.
My daughter tried as many dishes as she could and all the drinks they’ve had with the menu. Both of my kids liked them very much. The foods are excellent and the portions are quite plenty.
My daughter liked the soft shell crab with ramen of some kind. My mother in-law couldn’t finish her plate, she didn’t seem to appreciate the new gen food much.
The service is always attentive and pleasant, unlike other VN restaurant. The prices are reasonable the food are different, the important thing is my children like them.
There’s a dessert that’s so rich that my daughter couldn’t finish and she finishes everything.
I’m glad that the kids like this place, we can take them here whenever we’re all together.

After a long day at work, I and my wife decided not to cook and tried some new restaurants in the area and we found this one on Yelp. The name is kind of cute. It’s a VN fusion restaurant, and it seems to cater to younger crowds. Most of these Fusion restaurants, there isn’t a huge menu, 2 pages max for food and 2 pages for mostly boba drinks of all types. This one is no different.

The parking lot is quite small, it was a weekday and we came early before 6PM so we found a parking spot, but if on the weekend or later when people start dropping in, parking might be a problem. It’s right in a corner of a 2 major streets, so coming in or out may be a little slow.

The restaurant is quite clean and modern. The young lady server was quite pleasant, humorous, upbeat and extremely attentive, it’s a great sign. We had fun asking all the questions about the menu and the foods.

I ordered fried rice with steak and my wife ordered the soy garlic chicken sweet rice. Sweet rice is also call sticky rice, they tend to stick together, actually very delicious.

We ordered an appetizer, Takoyaky, Japanese style squid in potato balls deep fried, quite crunchy, tasty and rich. We both liked it.

My grilled steak fried rice plate has salad with very zesty dressing which I like very much. The fried rice is actually like rice in tomato paste which is very tasty. The steak is actually excellent, cooked just right, pink inside and extremely tender, with its special sauce, very delicious. I actually felt full after finishing the plate. To me that’s not skimpy with portions. After dinner I got to try the Sweet Pandan “chè lá dứa” which I haven’t had for years due to old age, LOL. It was very good and sweet. I needed more ice to water it down.
My wife soy garlic chicken plate that came with a little can of pate which is quite different. The chicken is quite crispy, the sauce is very good, and plenty of meat which she took home with my son to go Chicken fried rice.
We both shared the sweet drink and we had a great dinner at this restaurant.

The prices here are quite reasonable, everything is under $20.

We will come back here and take our kids when they’re all here in the Bay. My son did like the to go.

Great place overall. Food was delicious but definitely need to work on some stuff…

Pros:
Unique menu items
Shaken beef
Pate with the soy garlic chicken
Dry ramen
Friendly staff
Cute decor
Poached eggs

Cons:
Small and slightly shady shopping center
So much ice in the drinks
Sticky rice was on the hard side
Super loud music – they explained that they were doing construction but it was still way too loud.

Came here during dinner time around 5pm on Sunday. Wasn’t crowded.
I ordered short rib/marrow bone fried rice. I loved everything about that plate, it was so flavorful, moist, a little fatty from the bone marrow and meat chunks. Only thing was it was it ended to quickly.
We also orderd the shaken beef loaded fries. I didn’t eat to many of it, I was focused on my plate but the few fries that I did was good, cheesey, meat chucks and little spicy.
Would definitely come back and try other things.

Opinion Worth a Thought
Pretty good Asian fusion food. We had the BBQ brisket fried rice, shaken tofu ramen and mango tango smoothie. The brisket was on the dry side (think jerky), but love the poached egg

The staff was courteous and attentive

Will definitely come back to try other menu items
